I rented this, cleared the story and side missions (Except Riddler one) ALL in a single Week.

Superb story etc.

But the short length it took to complete so much disappointed me, not worth €50.

That said if its 20 I might buy it to play again

I have been playing this game since it came out! This and Arkham Asylum are some of my favourite games EVER! Although I realy don't like it that they seemed to have removed some of my favourite counters from the first game... And replaced them with some that I didn't really like. Also, I DON'T like the new bluish color on the cape and cowl. I was actually hoping for them to go darker on the suit but this disappointed me. I can't really buy the intimidation thing when he's dressed like that..

My only criticism of Arkham city is that it was way too easy, though everything seems too easy after Dark souls. Otherwise I can't really fault the game. It improved on an already amazing game in almost every single way imaginable.

Are you kidding,Catwoman was annoyingly underpowered (obviously).It wasn't much of an issue until you have to go and defeat Two-Face after you beat the main storyline.Two instances made my hand cramp,since she does far less damage than the Dark Knight (again,obviously).

I'll be honest and I rented this game for 5 days thinking I would have an easy play through, well I got about 4 hours into it and completely lost interest. It got so repetitive for me, granted I am VERY picky and I am not a batman fan at all, but hey I think there should be another way to locate people besides the thing on the side with a different skin. Also, I think it is the EXACT same thing as Arkham Asylum just different map, animations, and obviously story.

Great review, as always. The one major issue I had with the game is the beginning. I had to read on wikipedia what happened since the arkham asylum game finished. It should have been in the beginning of the game telling you that it's a year later, and all of that. But beyond that, it's a great game! Just wish I could get my combo scores up!

@jchanel04 I wouldn't go as far as to say its like GTA, etc as far as Sandbox goes, but there is still an open world for you to explore and you can do missions at your own pace and just chill out in AC if you like :) And as far as the actual missions go, they tend to be linearish, but you don't really notice - kind of hard to explain lol

2 questions: 1) can you play as catwoman from the begining, non touching batman =)? 2) do you have to buy catwoman story or it goes with the game?

@samfallswell you can play as Catwoman from the beginning if you DL and instal the DLC that should come with the game :) But its not a separate campaign, her story runs at the same time as Batmans and therefore you'll find that you'll be alternating between them.
