This song and this band occupy a very sacred and nostalgic place in my heart. It's almost hard to listen to because it bears so much sentimental value for me, but it's one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever made. They made it their own.

One of my all time favorite Jackson songs... many have covered it, and that it is because it is such a great song and relatable to most everyone. Jackson Browne is one of the greatest song writers of the past. Good job/nice harmonies. Love this band...

True He Did Write for her but He Actually Never Used it As Material for ANY Of His Albums Until Like 1972-3 and The Chelsea Girls album was already out since 1967 and Jackson Browne wasnt the Only One Who Wrote for Her So Did Robert Zimmerman (Dylan) and Lou Reed.
