  • I thought this was going to be about Wanderlei.

  • This man is half retarded

  • Diaz bro's wouldnt make more $ boxing. When u consider where the UFC is headed in 2012 w/ all the fights on Fox etc.Nick may be able to workout a nice payday in boxing and then it would fizzle out. When u take into account the bonuses Nate has received in many of his fights and the co-main status he acheived in his huge win over Cerrone, he wouldnt get the payday boxing that he gets now.Nick will be fightin for the interim belt, another big payday. The risk of boxing far outweighs the reward Period

  • ward he is the best on his wiegh class. he is very good boxer ... he is the man

  • Ward is an headbutting homo.

  • "It seems to be a trend that the mma fighters with the best boxing and the best standup have the most knockouts" LMAO! No shit sherlock. What a fucking stupid and obvious observation. I was right, you really are half retarded.

  • i'd like to see the tape of ward and the diaz brothers sparring.

  • STFU you lame faggot the Diaz brothers are MMA fighters, Nick only thought about going to boxing because he couldn't fight GSP, they are Gracie Jiu Jitsu fighters they started with Jiu Jitsu, Good boxers don't rule MMA ether you cunt, Overeem will prove a Good Kickboxer>Boxer all day

  • @algierspower15 nah dos santos will fuck that fool up

  • Wonder if Andre Ward rolls with them. XD

    p4p's/

  • The Diaz bros all day! 209

  • They won't make it in boxing, they don'thave that kind of skills. They slap punch and they'll be mediocre at best.

  • @MrNickolitis Richard Perez adapted boxing to MMA with Success.

Boxing carreer was a strategy to make Dana move and offer St-Pierre.

It worked. GSP didn't know who to duck Condit or St-Pierre, so he ducked both.

  • @LikeTotallyRich

If GSP ducked then why was Diaz a no show?

  • fuck mma elie.....stop reporting on cheap fuckn mma......boxing only!!!!

  • @77777lincoln1 you mad bro

  • @77777lincoln1

MMA is the premiere combat sport.

  • @godofthisshit lol right.....keep yout mma trash.....this is a mostly boxing forum...and elie should not fuck up a good thing....BOXING #1

  • @77777lincoln1

Nah MMA is a great sport that's why it's growing so fast. I know a lot of people in the U.S think it's redneck bum fights, but they don't realize the history of the sport globally. Elie is smart, he can see the rise of MMA and it's superior online coverage.

  • Diaz bros are tough and always come 2bang!

  • diaz brothers are the real deal...love how they fight.

  • That would be a waste of a gracie black belt!

  • too slow for boxing there use to 2oz gloves not 8oz

  • Both the Diaz bros are freaken bad asses. If they were to make the switch to boxing I think they would have a hard time at first because their boxing is too sloppy but its effective. However they are both world class athletes and I wouldn't doubt they would be able to adapt to a different style of boxing that would make them a success.

  • The Diaz Bros get away with alotta sloppy arm punches, and putting their hands down cuz MMA fighters for the most part... CAN'T BOX.

That's why the Diaz Bros look like boxing masters when they fight. They do have skill, but I really question how good they would do in a boxing match, against a top fighter. All their flaws will get picked apart.

  • @dwiggles1 u cant just box in mma cus u will get taken down kid! learn the game!

  • @blindbrad11 Wow, they do takedowns in MMA? That's news to me. You missed my point, all together. The Diaz Bros have better than average boxing skill, and are masters in jujitsu. They keep the fight on their feet were they can pick their opponents apart. You have to be well rounded to avoid the takedowns, so it's kinda implied. As far as the question Elie asked at the end (which is what I was answering).... I don't think they would do to good in boxing. Watch the video again, then read my coment

  • @dwiggles1 well nick has already boxed professionally and who cares what they would do in boxing cus they are in the ufc right now. if they did go box professionally it would be big fights = big pay days

  • @blindbrad11 Look, I don't care if he boxes or not. My original coment was in response to the question Elie asked at the end of the video. Even if they did go again, they wouldn't dominate the same way they do in MMA. There's a video of Nick sparring with a boxing prospect named Omar Henry (I think) on youtube, and it's not impressive at all. If you can find it, check it out for yourself. There wont be no big fights, no big money, and no dominating crossover to boxing. different skills needed.

  • @dwiggles1 your wrong lol he almost fought lacy and that wouldve been a big $ fight but he went to the ufc. same for any boxer they would get choked out in less then 1 minute in a mma bout. and for the dominating crossover part your right on that one nick isnt a boxer now hes a mma master/ tri athlete

  • @blindbrad11 Is Jeff Lacy a top fighter at his division? He's at the end of his career, if he's even still fighting (by the way Dana White didn't want him to fight Lacy, Dana owns strickforce as well, where Nick came from). When James Toney went to MMA and got chocked out was he well trained in Jujitsu? Or was he even in his prime? C'mon it was a side show, who didn't know old/ outta shape Toney had no chance? You really think Couture would've fought Toney standing up? No one Crosses over good.

  • @blindbrad11 your ignorant

  • @bradadezus im the truth, youre a bitch that hides on a youtube name

  • @blindbrad11 how da fuck are you the truth? how is your youtube name any different from anybody elses besides the spelling. That just proved my point you are an ignorant prick lol i feel sorry for your faggot ass lol

  • @bradadezus keep spewing that awful mouth, noone will take you seriously.

  • @blindbrad11 you are severely retarded and in need of medical help. i hope that works out for you

  • happy new yei love the diaz brothers fight but i think th syle of boxing they use is best in mma.ar!

  • happy new year everybody! Diaz brothers throw a lot of arm shots though

  • I like the Diaz boys. They are the only two of only a few dudes who I love seeing in the MMA especially Nate.

  • NO1 cares who the best boxer are they care about who the best fighters are.

  • @LIGHTNINGLEVIS you are obviously an idiot lol

  • @bradadezus being the best boxer does not prove shit in reality, mma is the sport of fighting, if you think you the badest man in the world you fight you dont box

  • @LIGHTNINGLEVIS MMA is not street fighting!! how manny times i gotta say this to people its a sport and not a bad sport ether but you don't fight in the street like an MMA fight quit falling for the gimmick you don't sit on a guy holding him down for 5 mins doing ground and pound in a street fight you don't throw head kicks in a street fight a good street wise guy will kick you in the nuts when you lift your leg. both boxing and MMA have elements that can be used at certain times in the street

  • @crookedwiretap89 but nether is pure street fighting . Kravmaga is street fighting BJJ is good for security guards and police cause you can restrain some one with out doing damage but your not going doing roll around if you're getting mugged or if there's a group or if he has a knife. lets face it the only thing MMA fighters are truly number one at is grappling and if you waste time grappling in the street you increases your chance of being hurt.best thing is too strike quick and fast and leave

  • @crookedwiretap89 Well, you can join the military, become a cop, or you can do the next best thing to prepare yourself for a street attack and learn things that you do from an MMA gym. The most important thing you learn from grappling is body positioning and feeling out the attackers movements. If there's room to strike, I'm leaving. If they grab me, years of Judo will kick in. I've been to about 8 Kravmaga classes. Theoretically breaking fingers and kicking groins gets old.

  • @crookedwiretap89

If someone is well trained and throws a kick and you aren't trained to defend it you won't have time to react. And if you don't defend it you could die or be severely wounded.

  • @SkywarpMach7 wow...thank you for that amazing piece of groundbreaking info...

  • Calling it THE MMA is just as mistaken as calling it THE boxing or THE youtube. This video revealed no new insights into the Diazs' boxing. What it looked like, and probably was, was a pathetic attempt at promoting boxing in the midst of its downfall.

  • @keredchang lol downfall yeah right

  • NOR CAL Figthers!

  • Elie, if you're going to report MMA, get your facts straight. JDS vs Velasquez lasted 64 seconds. You're just embarrassing yourself saying wrong things all the time.

  • @AMV0429 shut up

  • Exactly Elie, boxers have the best skills!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @kegsy86 Definitely!

  • @kegsy86 boxing wise yes

  • Its all about the money... that has ruined boxing and that is why mma is growing quickly nobody is .bitching bout who and how much they fighting for

  • who is the sucker puncher Diaz? nick or nate? good work for ward and diaz's

  • i think that ward is just being nice tbh

  • mma>boxing

  • diaz are like the outlawz in ufc dnt think dana likes them because there not push overs but when diaz gave the cowboy the middle finger in the fight i wanted him to get knocked the fuk out no need for that

  • @Galwaybanana Cerrone gave him the finger right at the beginning of the fight, he had it coming. Cerrone got fucking killed, Diaz bros for life hahaha

  • @bfmyac oh shit didnt see that in that case the cowgirl had it coming

  • @Galwaybanana como ?!

  • @quenquen411 what?

  • @Galwaybanana que ? ....what! entiende ? I'm wonder what also... estoy tratando de figure out what the infierno you were talking about con el cowboy comment ?!? wtf ?

  • @quenquen411 oh yea someone here said cowboy gave diaz the middle finger before the fight and thats why diaz show the middle finger during the fight

  • @Galwaybanana no eso ! me estoy refiriendo a why was this a big deal anyay ? I'm no familiar with these people.

  • @quenquen411 i dunno if i was in the ring and the other person gave me middle finger id do a mike tyson and bite ear off lol mad me mad

  • @Galwaybanana que ?

  • ellie has a good point saying that they would make more money in boxing.

the ufc pays dog shit money. nate diaz only made $74,000 on his fight yesterday.

  • @pimpkkk123 But the thing about boxing, is the top stars make huge money, the undercard fighters get paid in the hundreds.

  • @pimpkkk123 not going to lie, surprised he even made that much...

  • @Brandonian3030 Yeah, but making over 100k isn't that bad, considering he is no champ or a superstar, at least not yet.

  • @Brandonian3030 yeah but you have to consider costs as well. manager, gym, nutrition, etc.

  • They should join Boxing b

  • Nick is gonna be making big time money in the future.... Especially after he kos that cheatin' ass roided up greasing cheatin' mothafucka GSP.

  • happy new year ellie..................threw thick and thin your channel is one of the best

  • Comment removed

  • To be honest, the fact that Nate won was b/c of his Boxing ability AND his opponent's (Donald Cerrone) lack of Boxing ability. The dude didn't move his head at all, and for Nate all he had to do was throw straight down the pipe. Easy work.

  • no spar, juego.

  • happy new year Elie from the east coast!

  • @angerboy2957 thanks!
