Nah MMA is a great sport that's why it's growing so fast. I know a lot of people in the U.S think it's redneck bum fights, but they don't realize the history of the sport globally. Elie is smart, he can see the rise of MMA and it's superior online coverage.
Both the Diaz bros are freaken bad asses. If they were to make the switch to boxing I think they would have a hard time at first because their boxing is too sloppy but its effective. However they are both world class athletes and I wouldn't doubt they would be able to adapt to a different style of boxing that would make them a success.
The Diaz Bros get away with alotta sloppy arm punches, and putting their hands down cuz MMA fighters for the most part... CAN'T BOX.

If someone is well trained and throws a kick and you aren't trained to defend it you won't have time to react. And if you don't defend it you could die or be severely wounded.
