I thought i was in a race when i entered MP today..suddenly out of nowhere a truck that drops barrels comes little before the falling chimney on storm drain..I was like OMG WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING! and in the end I was 1st from 8 pkayers and i didnt know why then I noticed I was in a survival battle XD First time i am in 1 of those in MP..loved it!

i played the game on pc and i found it quiet boring but after getting fast cars the game started to shine it just reminded me with the awesome Burnout 3 but still it has this stupid system that after i unlocked the fastest car in the game some way slower cars still do pass me and then they break for no reason

Demo has changed my opinion of the game. Lame, boring and repetitve, after ONE lap. Its boring. The AI are no challenge, you just keep your finger on the gas, tigger one or two random "PowerPlays" and your set for first place. The car design is unimaginitve and the way they handle, is just awful. They have way to much grip and theres no 'Nitrous', the cars are so slow. The cars often understeer into a wall, they should be slipping and sliding. Something Burnout, Flatout and Blur have mastered.

I don't know but it doesn't seem appealing. If you have 10 explosions a minute you no longer enjoy it. It's a mess. A well targeted in-game event once in a while would have a stronger impact.

I know some people will enjoy it but I'm afraid the gaming industry is drifting torwards more action - less story/ sense /customization etc. Pity.

hm this looks good but personally I'm putting my money on Blur. In my opinion it has more comfortable colors, better and polished graphics, better gameplay mechanics, and everything just seems finely tuned (i.e. interaction with menus and whatnot). Then again I can't make a final judgement till I try the final versions of both games.

An arcade racer is usually more action packed but less realistic, meaning there's stuff like dynamic and dangerous environments, rockets, explosions, etc. It contrasts from the simulation racer which is still a racing genre, but only focuses on realism meaning you won't see rockets and nitro boosts and stuff.
