  • i did this with my class and its the only thing i think is cool in my school

  • can be corn flour aswell coz ive tried it before

  • dude u sed your gonna put your finger in there and put your whole hand in their

  • Kid u suck

  • Kid u suck

  • if i were to do this what could i say as the science question?

  • if you keep moving it around it gets hard xD

  • @loanskinq You were born wrong

  • this is awsome but one question why does it melt as it is not being moved

  • Learned This Last Year

  • this sux badly srry kid but it does

  • i know that one but i have a question is that a lquid or a solid

  • @landllymhar Good question, it's a non-Newtonian fluid meaning it has the characteristics of both.

  • @landllymhar it acts like a liquid when it's undisturbed and it gets more solid when you manipulate it. Pretty cool stuff.

  • Non newtonian liquid.... Enough said.

  • you just got the box wet

  • th latger the drain the less likely for it to clog.... use the damn bathtub, dummies!!!!

  • if i play with it it becomes hard.... sounds familiar.

  • Actually its also known as quicksand try to put pressure on it using ur finger.it will react as a solid but if u do not apply pressure on it,ur finger will sink in.try it

  • can i uuuse flourr

  • @MrChocolate613 no, it has to be corn starch

  • y wash ur hands if u r going they are gonna get dirty again

  • the reason it is firm when i it played with is becouse it is a non nutonian fluid which meand is is normaly a liquid but when id is squized of hit id is like a putty

  • that can clog up your sink

  • @stingee43 It can't because it dissolves very easily

  • @stingee43 Why does everyone keep saying this???!!! No..... IT CANT... IT DISSOLVES EASILY.

  • We know it will dissolves easily but it will clog up. I dunno how to explain but i tried after watching this vid, it clog up. My mum was so angry with me lol

  • @tpqls1231 If it does clog up, keep pouring water down the drain.

  • i think it's kinda gross. oh well

  • also if you do this same thing in hot water, it forms something more like play-doh

  • dude tryd it it was cool

  • DUDE WAS YOUR MOM PISSED?? dude your not supposed to put this shit down the drain!!!!

  • @macdadydoo it dissolves very easily

  • @TheKoolNerd1 NO DUDE DONT DO IT IN THE SINK IT WILL RUIN IT!!!

  • @TheKoolNerd1 well atleast dont let it go down the drain

  • COOL

  • oobleck o-o

  • it does this because it is a non-newtonian fluid, meaning the the stress does not linearly vary with the strain and vice-versa. it reacts to pressure variations by hardening.

  • Im going to stir it with my finger . (puts whole hand in)

  • that is cool! i am going to try it!! i think it is weird thought, how it melts!! huh . . . .

  • this is called oobleck.

  • What if you can't find any water?

  • I think it is very good, Great Job!

  • thats pretty cool!haha love it

  • Comment removed

  • its actually called ooblek i learned in school and made it

  • @dapeetree2 omg me to what grad edid you make it?

  • dude........ get a tripod.

  • my favorite part is 3:46

  • If you move it around it gets hard

  • when you play with that stuff and then drain it down the sink it will stay stuck there

  • wow give me back 3:46 of my life back

  • worst experiment ever kid

  • @Swiftyx3 I think it's cool

  • @TheKoolNerd1 me too

  • @Swiftyx3 Trololololol

  • hahaha pretty cool
