  • How much coal is shipped this way any more is there still a lot of "Lakes" shipping today ?

  • @cvgeeps There is lots of lake shipping still going on. Coal, Taconite, grain, sand, salt, potroleum products. Its a neat opperation to see, and photograph. Every year we loose more and more classic lakers like the one filmed here. They are getting up there in years, and being scraped, or turned into barges.
