  • I cried during this. I felt so bad for you.

  • why did you have stiches on your butt in the picture at 1:30?

  • @ChristineScholz Because they had to take cartilage from my hip to fix the stuff that was broken in my back, Thats why I have a scar there.

  • Hope you're doing better, the sun will shine, stay strong.

  • On the Facebook Group : TREATING SCOLIOSIS WITH NON-SURGICAL METHODS

there are stories of what can happen years later after the op.

For non-op methods, by far and away the best is the Theraflex machine we have in the UK.

I got rid of my Scoliosis at 38 years old with a few sessions of this.

Get your doctor to give you a few sessions on Theraflex, if he won't - get a new doctor who will.

  • omg you poor thing! i have a 63 degree curve and its alot of pain, i cant image what your going through

  • @hiddenshadow118 =( Poor you, will you have surgery for it?

  • @hiddenshadow118 =( Im sorry... Will you have surgery for it?

  • @Danni881212 i had the surgrey when i was 12, im 19 now, it still hurts because i was ment to grow a few more inches(the doctors thought i stoped growing they were wrong) i always had a 27 degree curve in my lower spine, but the rods i have now dont reach that far, now thats causing me some pain, sorry to tell you this, i dont wanna seem braggy or make it seem like its worse, i know its something you understand

  • @hiddenshadow118 Of course I understand... I had to wait 3 years to get a surgery time. So mine got much much worse too... I hate doctors... Are you fully straight now, except your lower spine?

  • @hiddenshadow118 Okay... Cant they do better? Of course I understand... I had to wait 3 years to get a surgery time. So mine got much much worse too... I hate doctors... Are you fully straight now, except your lower spine?

  • i dont have scoliosis but one thing is clear it isnt easy i have i friend who have it and

its tough for her she goes through a lot

  • beautiful and strong girl! Be happy

  • @huszonnegy =) thx

  • Sorry about your scoliosis, i have it too, its pretty annoying how other people dont understand it, and they dont get how tough going through surgery is dont mind the people with stupid comments

  • @bruksie Yes I agree, people don't understand a crap if they haven't been through it... It's so annoying to hear..

  • if you hadnt have drunk for 2 and a half months you would be dead...you can only live with out water for about 3 days

  • @ballerinaliv I didn't say 2 and a half months? And Im not dead

  • you actually did...rerad your discription it says

"The people at the hospital almost killed me because I didnt get any food or water for 2 monthes"

    see

  • @ballerinaliv Maybe I just wrote wrong in the end, im not american you know. And they didnt because they had me on tubes and stuff, and I didnt get much of it at all.

  • i know how u feel. i went through the same exacct thing. ur not alone(:

  • wtf is 0.36?? fake.

  • @sabsupertoll Faaakeeeeee??????

  • @Danni881212 yeeeeeeeesssss?????

  • Just a simple question: why did you put this up?

  • @ichaichaparadice Awareness?

  • Awareness? Sorry, but I've seen a lot of videos about scoliosis awereness and this just seems like you wanted everybody to see how tuff it's been for YOU and how much of a victim YOU've been and how everybody should feel sorry for YOU. I think that sucks, you've had problems but doing this is too much. You should stop looking for attention and move on, fighting as you have been doing until now obviously.

  • @ichaichaparadice Seriously, get a life. I make a video if I want to and it's HARDLY to get attention. I dont even check my youtube. I just wanted people to see how it can be, and no its not the best video since I wanted to include all in one because I dont wanna make 2 videos. Why do you even comment on this? I dont want any damn attention from anyone. I'm allowed to publich whatever I want, and it was not to get stupid comments like this!

  • @ichaichaparadice My family wanted me to post it. Because I've been through more than anyone has more and her/his entire life. Seems like you are the one seeking attenting, because im not! Stop commenting when you have nothing good to say! You dont know how it is to live with this.

  • @ichaichaparadice who says she wants to ge attention? you are jaleous that she gets attention. i don't think she want that and IF she want attention well... she deserves it! i've scoliose too about 15 degrees that's not much but i had to quit gymnastics that was my LIFE and i think 15 degrees is very hard because it hurts a lot when you walk too long... so her life is about 10000 times harder than mine. you're a strong girl danni881212! i've respect for you

  • @kyra19955 Thank you so much =) I have about 65 degreeses now, with 2 curves. Had 95 degrees from the beginning. I also always have pain, and I have to eat morphine pills every day. I try to do training. Because without that I kinda have nothing... I would be frustrated, It suckes sooo much to have a back like this,.. and it doesn't look nice either... Will you have a corsett for yours? XX Daniela

  • @Danni881212 wow that's a lot.. i can't imagine how much it hurts because i sometimes can't even sleep and my back is a lot better than yours.. poor you:( i maybe have to wear a corsett because the pain is getting worse but i can live with that idea.. because i'm almost 15 now and they said i will get about 10cm taller than i am now so maybe my back will be straight someday.. en how is your back now? still a lot of pain?

    xxxkyra

(i'm sorry for my late reaction and my bad english:$)

  • You really have been through a lot... I've been through some of that same stuff too, and I certainly know what you mean when you say you hate doctors. I wish better future for you! :)

  • @LeannanSilmat Thx=)

  • aaaaw ur life must have been really painful. this video almost makes me burst into tears!! idk.... wen im watching this a big awave of depression comes over me. :(

    <333

  • Oohhh sorry =/ I didn't mean to make anyone feel bad from this. Yes it was/ are painfull...

    Take care! <333 / Daniela

  • I am so moved to see your video as I have scoiliosis myself but not serious or painful.

I have amaemia and went to see a dietician and she introduced me a cornflake made in USA.

Before I ate the flake,I had dizziness every single day of my life along with poor memory, poor digestion, difficulty in breathing. But after consuming the flakes for 1 week,I felt changes and now it's been half a year and I feel no tiredness or dizziness at all.

  • Thats good! What cornflake was it?

  • It's Kellog's Product 19. it's in red and it's a big size.

Mnay of my female friends find it useful as they encounter period problems such as dizziness and tiredness.

Some others like me have anaemia which are very unlucky and helpless but find this very helpful.

  • Where do you buy the pill =) Write in mail if you rather want that.

  • Danni881212,

Are you paying attention to what I'm saying?

It's a cornflake, not pill and I get it from Citisuper here in hong kong and it's cheap. But I don't know in which supermarkets you can get it.

  • The cornflake has everything 100 % in it such as iron, folic acid, vit.A,B,C,D,E etc. and after consuming for half a year now,I feel no dizziness or tiredness at all but if I failed to eat it one day,the tiredness and dizziness comes back at night.

Maybe it's a product that can help your heart too.

  • Maybe that, what was it?

  • Hey. I had scoliosis surgery too. 2 years back. i just want to know.. HOW did ur rods break? thats scary. i didnt know it could break. what metal is it anyways?

  • I didn't know it could break either. Until I had a lot of pain for 6 years and noone knew what it was. And it didnt show anything on the x-rays. But on one x-ray in 2006 november. The doctor finally saw that one of the metal was cut in half, and ave me a surgery time. Before I had steel, now I have titanium.

  • ooh woa. well i hope mine dont break. mine r titanium. anyways thanks for the info! hope ur doing fine now :)

  • No I dont think yours will break =) My doctor said that it never happened before. So it's strange.

    Take care! =)

  • Also, they dont know the reason why, and how it broke.

  • awesome vid I have khyphosis 78 degrees they want to do surgery but I am too scared I am 19 and that is a big chunk of my life that I would be giving up, did yours help at all??

  • Of course it helps a bit. Sometimes you can be fully straight too from it... If I wouldn't have done my surgery I would be in a weelchair now... =/ They told me so... Take Care!

  • I just wanted to check how are u doing....

    Hope it is better....

  • It's middle, thx for asking!

  • o girl youre legs are like a stick :S

do you see that? its very bad,

i am sorry for what you have been trough and good luck for the rest of your life

  • thx

  • Thanks for posting this. I had 2 open-heart surgeries & scoli surg myself as a kid.

  • Ah =/ Did it go well?

  • Keep on rockin, from a Canadian with Scoli!

  • Thank you =) The same to you!

  • Girl,

    you made me cry :(

your lucky, be happy the way you are!

alot of people die, be glad your not one of them!

your a beautiful person, never forget that!

my sister died, cause she wanted to be skinny she starved herself, passed out and she never woke up!

I don't want you to be like that, or even become!

don't say your fat cause your beautiful!

    be positive, achieve more!

    :) keep going!

  • I'm so sorry for your sister =( Didn't you help her? How old was she?

  • omg...no it does not hurt, actually maybe only when I am stressed or tired.

Are u going to have one more surgery or something? I mean 65 is still for surgery...

  • They can't do more surgery on me to get it more straight =/ My doctor said that my nerves would break then... But maybe ill have to do a surgery again anyway. Because I have so much pain.. =/

  • Oh my...God...I am so sorry. I also had surgery 1.september.2008. I had 54* and now I have only 15* or less.

But you are a fighter and that is good. Keep yor head up...Everything is going to be just fine.

  • Good that you got so straigh! Does it hurt you still or something? I had 95, now I have 65. I dont know if it's ever gonna be fine =/

  • i am soooo sorry for you

  • so sad :(

  • Dannie, am so sorry u have 2 go thru this, pls try not 2 feel alone, tho I never had 2 have surgery 4 my back, the brace left internal scars still there 20 yrs later! (I often still walk bent fwd as tho I still had it on) I've long suspected a strong link between scoliosis trtmt & ana - your story confirmed my thoughts - some research is def needed on this- Can U try 2 think of yourself as a survivor of a terrible battle? Cuz that is what you are, a survivor-thnx 4 sharing, blessings 2 u- l-kay

  • You had a brace for scoliosis? And you got scares from that? A link between scoliosis and ana? Why do you think so? And how? I dont think im a surviver. Because I will have to fight this for the rest of my life. But my family and people I know thinks im a fighter. So I got a tattoo on my left wrist saying "fighting spirit" in chinese. I thought it could remind me that I have to fight. Thank you for your comment =)

  • Yes I think there's a link-Both are connected to adolescent body image issues-Focus on the body& its imperfections(thru the scoliosis treatment)seems to exacerbate already-existing feelings of being ugly or not good enough-If this happens to a young woman who is already emotionally sensitive&fragile (either because of personality or because of abuse)it is a recipe for self-hatred-I've heard(or read)too many references to link ana/mia/scoliosis to ignore-I'd someday like to do some research onit

  • Tell me more

  • Sorry for taking so long! Yes I had a Milwaukee Brace for my scoliosis(search Utube for it & you'll find some vids of what it looks like)the brace did no good, it did not help-the scars, i said, were internal...like, Emotional-very different from your scars but still painful-when i was your age i would have traded you a scar i could cover with clothes over my brace-it was IMPOSSIBLE to hide it! And i DO think you're a survivor!!Why? Because of what you've already lived thru & survived!

  • For the record-I think you do a great job of deflecting some of those ridiculously hateful comments-they are ignorant & taking out their anger inappropriately

Also-I'm going to assume that like most women w/ EDs you can NEVER get enough positive feedback to battle the negative inside your mind-so I'm going to tell you some good stuff-i'm old enough to be your mom but if i was your age, i'd think you looked VERY cool & want to be your friend! You have great style, personality, hair, clothes etc=)

  • Thank you, that is very nice =) And thank you for sharing your story a bit. Did you ever get a surgery for your scoliosis? You can tell me more in a mail if you want =) How old are you?

  • wow... you've been through a lot. a can relate to some... eating disorder...scoliosis (but i was able to just get a brace for several years)

    i'm glad you're alright.

VERY cool tattoo w/ the wings...

  • Thank you so much =) Are you fully straight now? It's horrible to have scoliosis, and eating disorders too.. Do you still have it?

  • I have a tiny little curve now... like in the low teens. It was irritating, my curve was only ever 26 - just above the bracing line! As for anorexia... still in recovery. That is something I'll always be fighting... but better to be fighting it than living it!

How are you doing w/ that?

  • Answer on mail instead =) I had 95 degrees when I finally got surgery, now I have 65. If anybody else wonders =P

  • Woow your legs are so thin , everything is skinny but your legs woow.

Yes sorry my english is bad. But i'm so sorry 4 you. with everything.

  • Thank you, I guess =)

  • your lil speach at the end really annoyed me

the metal in your back doesnt just brake you must of done to much to brake it= your own fault but i do feel bad for you now that it still hurts and that if you didnt get any food or water for two months then you WOULD have died so im thinking you may of over-done it a tad

and that last thing suck it up girl be brave dont put things like..

i could of died at the end of the video i mean it just makes you look like you want attention so BE BRAVE

  • But is everybody on youtube morons?! YES IT BROKE! It hadn't healed well and it just went in 2 parts! It was NOT MY FAULT. I got liquid the first 2 weeks, not after that. And yes I could have died, because they forgot to put some things on my head measuring if they touch nerves and stuff. And before the surgery they told me that there was a chance I didn't survive. And also they almost killed me by not giving me liquid.

  • I dont want attention, it was my moms idea that I should do this. So people can see what I've been through.

  • this 1994Leah1994 needs to stfu! ....right now! wow how effin ignorant!

  • the doctors didnt give u food or water :S ? i dont get it

if u say that, its a lie

  • No it's true, I couldn't eat becuase I had a tube in my nose down in my stomach. And then I didn't get any liquid from a needle as I should have. They "forgot" it... Stupid doctors. My mom tried everything to show them that I was totally in lack of liquid. I don't remember anything from this, I was so gone...

Look at minute 2:50 on this video...

  • exactly the tube was feeding you idiot!

its like what mega anorexic people get

    they feed you fat!

    calories and liquid!

  • But are you stupid or what!? The god damn tube didn't do a CRAP for me! The staff on the hospital went to me every 15 minutes to suck everything that I had in my stomach out with that tube! Because my body couldn't take care of it!! So they DID NOT feed me with it! They didn't give me anything at all!

  • Yeah w.e!

    drama queen much!

im guessing u definelty are not from the UK cause if that happend u cud sue them

  • No I'm not a drama queen, I just want people to know what can happen in life and all, and that they should be lucky if they dont have any problems like this, and that I'm gonna suffer from this my whole life. Already had scoliosis since I was 5, got surgery at 13 (too late), and at 18. Almost died 3 times etc. Why are you watching my video if you should be so annoying anyway? Don't you think I feel bad already as it is? I don't need this. And no, I'm not from the UK. I'm from Sweden.

  • We can't sue hospitals here. I wish we could, but we can not...

  • wow you are really strong! are tou ok now?

  • Thx.. Im trying.. No, I'm not so good now either.. =/

  • You'll get stronger out of this once all failures have been restored!:)

  • Depends on what you mean?

  • All the damage

  • Maybe a bit.. =/ I don't know

  • but you didnt die. There is a reason you are here!

  • Yes... But I was as good as dead... In the end they were trying to keep me alive. No idea why they succeed... This is no life...

  • Thank you for the video honey, you did great <3

  • Thx =)
