First off Aston Martin to a Kuwaiti holding company for a cool US$1bn then Jaguar and Land Rover to Indian motoring giant Tata for a super cool US$2.65billion and now Volvo to Geely motors for US$1.8billion! Yes the Asimo is very fancy. He's so friendly and obedient, you almost feel bad telling him to go make some popcorn for you. Slavery did end here some time ago now. Maybe Americans do not want hatch that up again.

And yes Asimo is much more impressive, but it is neither company's wish to compare the two. They are on different realms here. Honda is directly involved in development of Asimo. They pour in millions on it. Japanese people are okay with that. The trends in their consumer market supports that. Not only does Honda wish it, but the general public wants it.
