the car has a setup, especially the steering, that you nearly cant throw your car out, look he pulls hydraulic handbrake, full steering against, some playing with throttle, then full throttle, car does everything automaticly. At the end he opens wheel slowly. Put a guy like this in a original BMW M3 and with the first drift, he would throw it out, because steering is at the end!

Of course, not really drift to this extent, but if they learn how to drift and utilize the controlled "out of controll-ness" of drifting it can greatly improve their times when traction is not there. Case in point is Ayrton Senna, he was great because he raced in a kind of gripy drift. He actually lets the car power over in the last bit and achieves far faster times than some people on certain tracks. It's amazing to see his driving in the dry and the wet.

@G2IntegraDA yea Ayrton Senna was an incredible driver because he had a sixth sense for grip almost. it showed every time there was bad conditions or if he started to go over the edge, his drifting skills were amazing even in an F1 car. he used some interesting throttle techniques similar to drifters. instead of progressively increasing the throttle, he stabbed at it. It works, it's similar to why ABS works. it's tough to master but it's something alot of drifters and I do when drifting/racing
