@ 1:03 It looks like its pulsing. Like a little heartbeat. I think that is what earth is. A flame of warmth and a little heartbeat, pulsing gently. And then we come along and start to crack that pulsing, making it go slower and slower, clogging up the atmosphere.

But then again, this video is pure magic by itself. All we can do is coax that little heartbeat to keep beating, pulsing gently and then we will have a true sense of magic. :D

i do not have their budget, but i have done many panning timelapses manually with custom built tripod attachments for very accurate manual movements. much of my stuff looks very similar to this. i am looking into an apparatus that is a modified equatorial telescope mount that would allow a perfectly accurate and programable incrimental movement, i timelapse with my two beautiful nikons, my D700, and D90... previously with a Nikon D80

They have a little device for that. It controls the speed of the turning of the camera. It creates a panning effect when you speed the recorded images up. You could do it manually but you'd be busy for hours, moving the camera 1 millimetre every hour. ;-)

Yes in fact the dinosaur extinction wasn't the largest extinction the earth has ever seen. There have been about 5 or more major extinctions and dinosaurs were only #3 or #4. The other extinctions were micro organisms like bacteria - there were more different species than all the species currently on earth combined. wikipedia mass extinctions

According to researchers, not me, they say before the world OR the big bang had occured, there was large clusters of gases and other substances. The bag bang happened through a reaction of those gases, this reaction had such potential power, it exploded(big bang) and created the planets in our solar system as we know it. This "power" of the big bang, can be man's misconception of a god. But i am only recalling from memory, it may not be 100% accurate.

We think of the universe as infinite, but that is because it is so vast in our perception of it. It's all relative.
