@KORRG4pictures Yeah usually in a few years the culture gets burnt out on Super Robots, and swings back to Real Robot Series before jumping back in to super robot chaos a few years later. The funny part is that Go Negai always has the worst timing in this respect.

@KiraZeroYamato Go Nagai had very little to do with the works of Getter Robo. Ken Ishikawa is the writer for the show. Go Nagai only gave the idea of combining jets rater than cars, which was Ken's original idea. Go Nagai and Ken Ishikawa were close friends, so that's where all of the confusion is rooted. All that being said, I REALLY hope Go Nagai does adopt the Getter Robo franchise. It needs to continue on even though Ken Ishikawa is dead. Maybe he can tie in his original works of Mazinger Z.

@ZaneHitsurugi In canon? Nothing, really. Most of the Getter series tend to stand on their own, with the exceptions being original Getter/Getter G and Getter Robo Armageddon since it takes small elements from both aswell as the manga it's based on (Shin Getter Robo). You could also watch Shin Getter Robo vs Neo Getter Robo for another stand alone plot line.

@ZaneHitsurugi Other than the crappy 70s anime and the original manga, all the other works are disconnected. Logically Getter Robo G or Shin Getter Robo would be next though.
