I would love to have it, and would be very grateful for it! I remember watching it when I was in 2nd grade I believe. I couldn't find any remnants of it online, so I began to think I was just going crazy about it's existence, until I found this clip with "classroom contact" at the end lol! :D
I remember watching a mid-80s episode of "3-2-1 Contact" during my Chemistry class in 11th grade (1999-2000) to explain a topic relevant to what we were learning (though the lesson escapes me). My whole class really enjoyed the episode.
I'm sure this program couldn't entertain high schoolers now the way it would have only a decade ago.
1980-1992 ("12 years") assuming 1992 was the final year it was on it's quite impressive for a Science Show.
the opening theme music is still very much in memory from when I saw it as a Kid and seeing how the opening graphics evolved over the 12 years it was on and finally knowing why so many Hosts were in it with the changing times etc.
Stephanie Yu was an insufferable know-it-all. Actually, most of the V3.0 "kids" were pretty snotty- the show really jumped the shark after they did away with the classic meeting space arrangement. Nonetheless it's great seeing these clips here, thanks!

This is the extended version of the closing theme, the normal version doesn't have the extra guitar break.

The segments may be somewhat dated, but the theme song (opening and closing) so timeless...

Did the "This is PBS" announcer also announce the videocassette advertisement right before it?
