@Keesfarida Thank you Maestro. Being from the 60's I can't resits old school R&B and blues. Its a great foundation for jazz.. There's a school of thought out there that it all comes under the umbrella of jazz. Who knows. That was the last gig I used my old 335 for. I really appreciate you and your inspiring playing. Greetings to you in also in Beautiful Europe. It's about 95 in the shade here in the South. Stay cool brother.
Hey Mike, talking bout great playing, what a fantastic trio, you played a great Intro here, thought Hendrix was inspiring you here but still you're own thing, great double-stops in your lead playing, fine solo's man. thanks for your message,I will check out your Site soon, great sound in that guitar and a very creative mind playing it, 5* Vic.
Thanks Vic, coming from you I'm honored. You and I must be close in age. Istn't great to have grown up the Hendrix's and the Wes Montomgreys? It's all connected isn't it. Take bro. Mike Z
Yeah Mike, you're right it's all connected, and I love the Blues man, don't matter if Wes or Jimi played they had their own thing going and their inspiration was endless up to this day man. I was thinking: playing in this way with a trio forces you to play very melodic and that's exactly what you're doing,Greets Vic.
I like the Trio thing. Especially in jazz. Nobody else to get in the way. I do miss my old keyboard/vibe player Les Blauchut. I played with him if Fla for years. He's from Poland. Studied at Berklee. Check him out on jazz survivors or Les Blauchut here on the tube. I also find in a trio, you have to get a little more busy sometimes to fill up. That's where using bigger inversions of Dom 7 chords come in handy. They open up different doors in a trio or even bigger setting.
Hi Mike, thats a pritty nice blues my friend, well done ,my compliment for this trio, warm regards from the Netherlands,Kees Nipius.Willdvd.
