  • goood

  • beautiful song that brings back a memory of a lost moment... ]o\

  • Fantastic I enjoy in it

  • Why can't this version appear on youtube.com when I search for it through my Television!!! All I get are the Live Stage Version...Bummer!!

  • very nice song....great way to the next generation................best way to show a great song.

  • I bet he was dizzy after filming this

  • We love Sting! He's Rules!

  • i am in love with this man.

  • This is one of the best music videos I have seen.

  • People say they hung my relatives in Salem!

  • rfvrfvg tvgtv6 g65vf f5rtfvg rftggy

  • What would people do if they lost their faith in religion, race, creed, and a need for revenge. They could always just love the Almighty God and Christ and do the right thing; but that would be too easy.

  • Sting could write books with one verse.

    Nobody takes the police seriously.

It's too bad, and Sting turned out to be another pampered establishment joke.

But lyrically Sting was second only to the Beatles, back when rock was for real.

  • This is a classic. You know it's good when it's timeless.

  • In the 80s the music was the central focus more than image. But music today still is great. There is so much of it people don't hear. But I still hear great music every now and then. Every generation has great music.

  • I hate how people always say the 80's were the best! I wouldn't be surprised if people back in the 80's were saying the 80''s suck. The 80's are fine and all, but they were a bit repeitive on love, kind of similar to today. The reason why I love the 90's so much was because it expanded to other genres and most 90's songs I know have deep meanings and this song is no different. I wish artists would stop making so much songs about love; we get it the girl dumped you, move on.

  • Oh, Sting, I just love your songs!

  • Sign me up for "thumbs up" #1879 !

  • My love song to a new girlfriend. We were together maybe three weeks when this song hit the charts. Just when Christmas time came around, too! Not a month into it all, there I am at a traditional Polish dinner. 11 differe fish on Christmas Day, eaten using two forks. If you ever read this, pussycat, do know that your Yankee boy never forgot you.

  • 1993!? That was the year I was born! Wow, I must have been listening to this since infancy! :)

  • Wow..pure inspiration!!

  • haha everyone heres old lol im only 20

  • what a magic song...

  • Love Sting and he's certainly got a lot of great music, but this songs arrangement is rather formulaic and cliche. Rather blase. Not his best effort.

  • WOW Farm Out

  • Damn, I was 28 when this came out. That seems like a lifetime ago. (46 now). Wanted 1 working time machine, I'll rent it for the week.

  • Sting ~eternal~ favorite~♥~:)

  • If I ever loose my faith, They'll be nothin left for me to do but no good

  • Sting is one guy who creates his own musical genre.

  • What I wouldn't give to be that drunk guy who could sing on stage with Sting.

  • excellence is what the feeling of this work brings to me;) love

  • GREAT

  • 1:45 politicans all seem like game hosts to me. Amen Sting!

  • una delle + belle canzoni di sempre...

  • I love the faux medieveal references here. Sting as a medieval lute playing weirdo

  • 13 people have lost there faith

  • @darrenhenderson3 you can shut up with this fad already

  • @ymistillavirgin i know but its kinda funny

  • maaaan, I was like 5 6years when this song was on..liked it then..and now Im 23.still like the song..good o'l days :)

  • seems to know a little morethan all of us in all his songs-

  • Never saw no miracle of scienceThat didn't go from a blessing to a curseNever saw no military solutionThat didn't end up as something worse butLet me say this first

If I ever lose my faith in you(If I ever lose my faith in you)There'd be nothing left for me to do(There'd be nothing left for me to do)

  • Sting - If I Ever Lose My Faith In You

  • Classic.

  • Jesus! I was 7 when this song came out. I had Know Idea I liked Sting that young!

  • @ShaiqNBaiq5464 I used play to my daughter "Message In A Bottle" when she was a baby, she always quickly opened her eyes and put a big smile in her face. She likes Sting since baby!

  • @ShaiqNBaiq5464 Same... 86' BABY!!!

  • @ShaiqNBaiq5464 You had NO idea?.......or you had know idea....spelling counts you know

  • @MissesMcprincess Ha good catch! I had KNOW idea I did that.

  • @ShaiqNBaiq5464 To correct you, simply say you had no idea that Sting sang this song. No pun intended.

  • @ShaiqNBaiq5464 Sheesh, I was 31 when it came out, thanks for making me feel old.

  • @dgl1962 I have a habbit of doing that.

  • обожаю эту песню! ^_^ в детстве боялась солнышко-Стинга :DD

  • awe-some song

  • Young artists need to try writing songs that this and not that singing to music, where Sting sings and the music seems to glide along for the ride.

  • Why don't you allow playback on an iPhone?? :(

  • the best ;)

  • Look and listen carefully at this video. In SPITE of all affliction MANKIND has the FAITH to carry on. There is SOMETHING in which we all believe. I will not lose my faith in HUMANITY . DECENCY WILL come to EARTH.. Wait and see.

  • 10 idiots have lost their faith in TRUE music.

  • 10 tone deaf children disliked this song.

  • best christian song of the 90's hands down

  • @darrenhenderson3 That's cool if you want the song to mean that for you. But that's not what Sting was singing about. He's not Christian... "There's no religion but sex and music." - According to Sting.

  • @MegaMalfurion well its not ''The Best''

  • @darrenhenderson3 Um, Sting isn't Christian.

  • @darrenhenderson3 i know hes buddist right i forgot but i think thats it

  • @darrenhenderson3 I know Sting isn't a Christian, but this song to me expressed how I feel about God. So I hear what you're saying. Funny, the songs that tap into that feeling of inspiration in your soul, isn't it.

  • @blf112761 That's how I always felt too when I listened to this song. Sting is modern troubadour: a great songwriter and fantastic music-composer!

  • @dreamersfind Troubadour is a great way to describe him. He's a very versatile performer. I'm thinking of one song which hit all the high points, so to speak: jazz, classical, rock - all in one song!

  • complete lunatic

  • @eric24weber Being creative always has some inspiration from insanity :-)

  • Sting was once an English Teacher... I think the man is a Poet:)

  • Friggn awesme niggahs

  • SI ALGUNA VEZ PIERDO MI FE EN TI... NO ME QUEDARIA NADA MAS POR HACER

  • Artists today could reproduce 90s style music again if they REALLY wanted to. All they would have to do is start using those old instruments, and start coming up with some new tunes and new songs that are in line with 90s style. It could be done. But they won't. They are afraid they will lose money as it is not "up-to-date" with the times.

  • Awesome song. Sting is a legend

  • Too late!, my faith was lost in that fickle thing people call love a long time ago!

  • Great song; there's some nifty chord changes to go with the melody in this one.

  • The 90's....a decade long sunset for the West.

  • The 90's music was out of this world. Wish I could go back

  • @apriori7 is it just me or 90s video had a certain unique visual style

  • @isometric85 nope. I totally agree. I thought it was only me; that I was hallucinating or something. They should make more movies with that same visual style, I miss it. Whatever it is this video has it.

  • @bittersweet2311 yeah lots of music video have unique presentatioon but "sting" and tears for fears" had that slow movement euphoric feel

  • @isometric85 It's because Ecstasy became mainstream in the 90's... ;)

  • @LanfeustDeGlinin if ur talking about drugs i am not interested i belive in natural ecstasy

  • @isometric85 ... just a joke! It's certainly more because people like Michel Gondry and Spike Jonze were making music videos, rather than so called actual 'artists' that believe in soft porn, money and hype brands all the way to sell their 'music'...

  • @isometric85 The unique visual style is called "only 3% CGI" Aka the rest of what you see is props. Aka, he's actually sitting in a chair, in the ocean. It's not computer water. =P

  • Isn't this before Cirque du Soliel?

  • @thanhtran5 I stand corrected this was released in 1993.

  • One of Stings best songs to date!

  • Sting doesn't really play the harmonica that well; at the beginning, he seems to be huffing on it.

  • Brings me right back to February, 1993......London

  • he was born in newcastle uk, where i live , we expect him to come back to his hometown,

  • i like it!!

what happened today??all we heard is about sound's of stupid, no more good music like 60-90's did..

  • @rockymarinus the real music is still out there... just tha most of it is unsigned.... tha way it should be really.... no-one owns music...... let us take it back from those greedy record comanies and set it free once more... yeah!... :)

  • @NAKOR007 Hell yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Stunning

  • 8 dislikes?...how?

just no accounting for taste I suppose.

  • Hey, you all remember VH1 and MTV? What the hell happened? I used to watch GREAT videos like this! Now all they play is stupid reality TV shows. Who cares what Jersey shore is doing? I dont want to see anyones drama play out on TV. Lets free our minds and listen to this great music again XD

  • one of my most favorite songs by Sting

  • I came >_<

  • this si very simmilar to the video by depeche mode ''enjoy the silence''

  • @nirvanafan0091

    Not that much:

Enjoy the silence is focussed on one King, searching for solitude to sit down in.

This video reminds far more of the title of the LP this song was released on: Ten summoner's tales.

  • epic song

  • I've just noticed the replica of St. Edward's chair in this video.

  • i remember being like 5 yrs old (im 20 now) and I would hear this song play on Vh1 and I would run my little ass off to get into the living room and listen to this with my Mom.

  • this is a good song thank sting

  • This are the greathest Sting songs, incluided "They Dance Alone" and "Valparaiso" and other songs, because there are social critic of the human race with a little bit of romanticism in this song...

  • 752 likes, 7 dislikes and 367,161 views. avery view what isn't vote is a like vote becouse only people who like it whatsh it 3 ore 4 times ore someting (me 326475918yr48q57603q4365841667651625390er0t4765086237o623915 times. whait there is a q in my number...)
