@chrissiemoda Rick here--you heard right--they were grouper fish cut into finger sizes and fried (like chicken fingers). I guess they curled up when frying to resemble shrimp.

Hi Betty,  I so enjoy your field trips. Carter is growing up so big. How did Rick like the Grouper and do you have a Grouper fingers recipe. Is it a local fish? I'm not sure if its in my market. Was the coating corn mealy or battery?

@grandmacheapcheap Rick here--grouper is a salt water fish and tastes great.  This coating was more of a batter than cornmeal. Betty hasn't done any sort of fish fingers, but she has done fish several other ways. Her Ky. catfish is a particular favorite of mine.

Woops! Forgot to say me (Diamond) , and my sisters, Lucy and Isobelle are tripplets. We are fifteen ad we live together raising my tripplets, Paige, Laura and Kyle,who are 5 months old, Lucy's triplets, Lucas, James and Samuel, who are 8 months old, and Isobelle's twins Caitlyn and Abbey, who are 10 months old. We were wondering if you could make some food for younger children like ours, or possibly just ten months- one year olds???? Don't worry if it's not possible!

@tashagotjunk99 Hi Tasha! Thanks for the compliment on my blouse! The garden is doing great! Each plant is about triple the size it was in the last update. We have had two ripe tomatoes and there is one large green pepper on a bell pepper plant. The herbs are lush and healthy. I will show the garden again when I go out to pick something for a recipe.

that rocky road brownie dessert rick had just looked so awful. i bet i couldnt take more then two or three bites without getting absolutely sick. i mean, four bites at the most and i would just be finished. in fact since i wouldnt want anyone else to have to endure the sheer agony of having to even look at it, i would sacrifice my own comfort and just eat the whole thing. that way no one else will be forced to touch it. i can be such a martyr at times.. it will be so painful, but i care.. :-)
