Kill the black/white/middle eastern debate on Jews. Jews/Hebrews' origins are in the middle east, the only reason they're white(er) now is because they've lived in Europe for so long.
@JM1993951 Why would I as a believer be fed up with this. The Bible had to have human authorship. Whether it was Moses alone who wrote the Pentateuch or several authors doesn't affect the idea of divine inspiration. It actually could help confirm it. If multiple authors are writing independently and are telling the same story that's good evidence for a common source.
I don't know who still can believe in these stories??? The ''holy'' book was written by countless numbers of ''writers''...anyone could add what they wanted to add and drop out what they didn't like (like the kings through the ages did)! You don't even know the true origins of the ''book''!!! It all started by verbal tradition??? C'mon....just stupid...there's no GOD...only aliens who interbreed with humans and the ancient people perceived them as ''gods'' or ''higher beings''! That's that!
Why are the Hebrews here portrayed as White?? The Hebrews were Black people and in that land there were no white people. Jews from Khazhar now came to that land and claim to be the chosen people. Is this channel the work of the Jews? We all know they didn't write the scrpitures that were compiled to form the Bible.
@makheyi I suspect alot of that artwork is from a few hundred years ago when the artists either didn't know any better or they were financed by a white papacy.
@ThanatoselNyx We have a copy of the Bible which was given by early ministers to Southern Africa. In it were pictures of white people, I remember Jesus, Samson, Moses and the burning bush. The truth is that these people knew better what they were doing and tried to portray themselves as good people, God's chosen people, something that didn't sit well with my grandfather. He never attended and believed these people because the same people later on attacked Black people, colonized SA.
@ThanatoselNyx Christianity was a well-calculated mission to colonize Africa & subdue its people. The people would hang to the Bible while they plundered our resources. To this day what they took from us by brute force, they've refused to share with Black people. We had to start a struggle for independence, but though we got it, we still don't have economic freedom. The same white people who claim to be Christians are happy to see Blacks suffer, still hold on to our resources. This is hypocrisy
@MrIntangibleasset Semites mean half white, half black. The Hebrews were Black people are there are still Black people. The so-called Jews are fake Hebrews who want to claim a religion to be theirs, what a laughable thought. We all know there are from Khazaria and were a barbaric tribe. Where ever they went no one liked them, even Europe didn't like them and still doesn't like them. Now there are terrorists finacing all the wars across the globe. I hate these motherfuckers. One day you'll pay.
@makheyi WTF are you smoking ? Their nor black nor were they ever black, LOL have you ever been to the Middle East? I have, i'm from there, if you go to Syria, Jordan, Lebanon,Israel, Turkey, the people are Mediterranean looking, they don't look like Sub Saharan Africans. I have met original Hebrews who did not migrate from Europe, they look more or less the same as Arabs, Turks Persians etc..nobody is African.
@makheyi You're just making crap up, because according to National Geographic Geneology project, both Jews and Arabs are J1 Y chromosome, even Jews from Europe have this, proving they originated in the Middle East. Also if you go to museums in the Middle East there are ancient paintings of Middle Eastern people trading with and buying African Slaves, and the Africans are drawn as blacks, while the Middle Easterners are drawn different.
@MrIntangibleasset Crap is what you have in your trousers, you need to broaden your horizon not have blinkers. National Gergraphy is not the only source of human being check other sites too. Before there was anyone here on earth we were Black people. White people appeard about 6 000 years ago.
@makheyi LOL You are an uneducated idiot. Go to University and talk to a real professor. Genetic testing never lies, genetic testing shows reality. Jewish people def have Middle Eastern roots, and the people in the Middle East were never Black people LOL Blacks have always lived in Sub Saharan African and were only taken to other parts of the world as slaves, that's it. Stop being ashamed of your history and accept reality you uneducated monkey.
@MrIntangibleasset I don have to go that far, check the Lembas of Southern Africa in youtube. You'll find a connection of who truely were Hebrews. The people who call themselves jews got this name from the Europeans who didn't like them. There are not Hebrews. They claim to be Jews which is what fits them well. Hebrews are of Black origin.
@hallalmart The Quran says in Sura (chapter) 20: 102 that the blue eye is Guilty and they shall be condemned. Are they not talking about white people ? It also says in Sura 4:34 that husbands are allowed to beat their wives.
@KnifeSniper69 yes they did...at least the philosophic part of religion (like the teaching of elements which is now about atoms etc.) - the other parts where about culture/history & laws
@pwnageAAXAApker nah it doesn't - these are just quoted texts which where important back then...there was no internet so people needed to write down books and exchange information taking looong time periods passing it from one place to the other. if you look at it that way churches where a network of spreading information...pretty neat huh? first internet-network was invented 2000 years ago xD
@abaex then how do you explain their willingness to devote their whole lives to writing the Scriptures? If it were just something like that, there would be no need to do so, nor to give up everything they owned to serve God even if it meant giving up their life if it came to that.
Well...authors just like to write stuff, artists like to draw, musicians like to do music...why would they devote their whole lives to that? Because they love what they do. The problem is if it was a good working scam of course they would dedicate their life to this too - I could also argument like that. But most of the bible seem to be chronicles and letters...it looks more like jobs - writing letters, archiving them, writing chronicles & some wrote sagas for entertainment. That's possible too.
ah...but well lots of Christians claim that Moslems are evil & satanic too but they would also die for their beliefs. On the other hand Islam & the origins of Christianity are in the same region so it's the same anyway. Today there still seem to be some satanic like sects (they might actually be Celtic or something but use 666 etc.) in the underground which normally kill people which want to get out. They could even be in charge of todays version of the bible since they have a secrecy hierarchy~
imposible, if this guy written jeremiah book and deuteronomy. than how is it possible for the last king that they were talking about, to find the books in the temple. hizkiahu, was the king that "find" the book deuteronomy and he lived way before jeremiah !!
Reading sacred texts should really just be a matter of searching for clues regarding ultimate reality - rather than being considered to be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. A multidisciplinary search for truth is essential - and this must always be tentative. My mind is not made up. Please confuse me with the facts. I'm easily confused. Making a decision about anything - and then closing one's mind - is extremely dangerous. Decide to be indecisive. Ask lots of questions.
Doesnt anyone find is suspicious that this primative society held onto prophecies for 500 years such as, there will be an army from the north that will lay waste to the land and they think that its proof of divinity? Can you say, revisionism? Uhhh, yea, i predicted that....yea...god told me. You arent calling god a liar are you?
Its all just semantics ... there is no need to put the bible, or any Holy Books for the matter, under the microscope ... just use it as a guideline use your own initiative and rational thought to discern which are relevant and which are no longer so ... and i believe the Church at that time claimed the earth was flat and the earth not the sun was the centre of the universe ... though i have no idea if that is witten in the bible itself ...
YOU hypocrites, Isaiah aptly prophesied about YOU, when he said, 8 This people honors me with their lips, yet their heart is far removed from me. 9 It is in vain that they keep worshiping me, because they teach commands of men as doctrines.
@zoarXgold Because if it were God's word then it would remain error free as God being omnipotent it is not in God's favor to make errors (as this is an association to humans being limited compared to God). God is consistent but if there were contradictions, then you are going to naturally start questioning the validity, authenticity and sequencing of God's power.
And when did god say he was perfect? God and all of its abilities and personalities and accomplisments are just inventions of primative people as control devices. Anyone who studies history can see that.
@MrKevMan The most learned and intellectually able people are the ones who attempt to re-create and establish themselves as self-sufficient beings! The reality of this all is people are NOT self-sufficient! The law of cause and effect was created by God all-mighty! Taking Oxygen and water for example, we can never live without these essentials! No matter what belief or lack of belief you are apart of! How is it we can create complex technologies but fail to prevent old age and death?
@BluThunder247 "How is it we can create complex technologies but fail to prevent old age and death?"--Because nature puts an expiration date to keep things balanced, not only that, we aren't that advance to get close to "immortality". There isn't enough resources to support an immortal species, imagine those sick freaks in the OT living our time, people would be killed left and right. Is that question supposed to be thought provoking btw? Hope not
@HybridD91 So who created that perfect synergy of Life and Death? It can't have been chance because in perfect order simulation we also create things with resources that have cycle times (ie automotive engineering for example - wear and tear) We create things for the benefit for ourselves by the mercy of God. He ordained those things for us on earth! The question isn't thought provoking but rather thought stimulating! The question was for MrKevMan for the sake of argument and no1 else. Peace
@BluThunder247 "It can't have been chance"---Prove it. Saying God did it because you don't understand it doesn't answer any thing. If you don't understand, that's where your assertions should stop.
@HybridD91 Question can be deflected back at you. Prove that God does NOT exist. You can't answer it either because there are no utilities or resources to prove or disprove that! If you don't believe in God that is fine but when you have lived a life of sheer material leisure and worldy gains and have nothing to take with you when you die and you found out God exist, who will save you?
@BluThunder247 I don't need to prove anything because I'm not the one making assertions, you are. Do you even know what an assertion is? If your God holds illogical attributes such as omniscience, omnipotence, AND omnibenevolence, there is no need for proof, logic alone will defeat it. Like a square fitting a circle half it's size, it's illogical and logic alone can show square will not fit in a circle half it's size.
@HybridD91 You are interpreting them as assertions! Saying something as simple as it does not make sense is not an assertion, its hypothetical to say the least! It is logical to ask these questions as it has been instilled in our nature to be inquisitive. Your 'shape' example is illogical to begin with as it only represents tangibility. If i slap you in the face can you say it is logical to say that 'pain' does NOT exist on the basis of not physically seeing it?
@BluThunder247 If you can't answer your own question with some sort of science, other than god must have done it. What else do you think caused all this?
@spareaxe I never refuted science! Science is a way of learning about the intricacies of existence and how things are formed! Science is rational as it gives us an insight! Remember, a few centuries ago science was a tool used to define life as God has stated. It is a mircale in itself! Just coz i believe in God doesn't mean i disprove science! Science and religion work hand in hand in this life!
Come on, we know the people of Yisrael in that chariot in this movie is FALSE! There is no Hebrew/Negroid features on these people in these clips! Even the Khazars must be laughing! The must be thinking the fool you all again!
@ceezmad1 maybe the "Darius" that the hebrews are referring to is just another Persian emperor...using the famous name "Darius" to represent it....like "Ceasar" is used by Romans
@pcbb01 Yes there were many, Darius 1 is a differnt guy from Darius 3. But I guess that the Jewish population was not very important in 400 BC since greek writters did not say much (or anything) about them. Greeks even wrote about the arabs, but not the Canninates (Jewish people).
Remember people, on the coming months of September to December, there were 2 volcanoes that would erupt in the US, the name of these volcanoes have something to do with faith. This eruption is a trumpet blast from God. Repent now people! Avoid pornography, smoking, cursing, fornication, adultery, immorality, occultism etc. Be holy; do not turn to church for salvation, turn to Christ
Do Jews and Christians recognize Mohammad as a prophet? Muslims do recognize both Moses and Jesus Christ as monotheist prophets send by the same God. and they also believe that the Torah and the Gospel as the words of God. This is what muslims believe in. Non muslims don't believe that.
"Whereupon Jesus said: 'Ye deceive yourselves; for David in spirit calleth him lord, saying thus: "God said to my lord, sit thou on my right hand until I make thine enemies thy footstool. God shall send forth thy rod which shall have lordship in the midst of thine enemies." If the messenger of God whom ye call Messiah were son of David, how should David call him lord? Believe me, for verily I say to you, that the promise was made in Ishmael, not in Isaac.'" (Barnabas 43:10)
And the earth! We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and have produced therein every kind of lovely growth (plants). Quran surat KAF.
now the ark was enormous in its size it was big as 2 and a half football fields , the ark had 3 decks ,top, middle and bottom. There was enough food for all animals to survive but it would be possible that the animals would have been being feed every few days.
The ark was not filled with every two animal that we have now, it was about 2,000 years after creation, so there was hardly any animals upon the earth at that time, plus after the flood animals evolved which is called micro evolution, there was only one type species of dogs, cats, birds and so on, so that takes just about half of the percentage away upon the ark ,some animals where smaller in size then other so that would save some space,
(Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands, and then say:"This is from Allah," to traffic with it for miserable price!- Woe to them for what their hands do write, and for the gain they make thereby.)
Imagine if billions of people believed 3000 year old fairy tales written by a nomadic, barbaric people who had yet to understand the earth orbitted the sun or that there existed a western hemisphere...
oh wait... that's the world we live in now. Insanity. Yet somehow, the bible is more credible than say... the writings of the ancient norsemen who worshipped Thor or the ancient Eqyptians who worshipped Rha, and so on, and so on...
I really liked your video and your channel. If you need any help getting this video or channel exposed I use a site called tubeviews.(net) It has really helped like 20 of my main videos get to the top in position. God Bless!
have you looked at the evidence? Most likely not. It is possible that Noah could of had two of every single animal on a ark. Yes i know it sounds insane, But isnt the truth sometimes disturbing or even hard to believe? Dont dismiss the stories so quickly. Even if it sounds impossible like God flooded the whole earth.
not even remotely possible to being true. you couldnt fit 2 of every animal and insect and bird in the world on hawaii with enough food to last 40 days and nights.
there is no "Guess work of Christianity" what so ever actually the Old Testiment is historicly accurate proven time and time again its proven to be truth. i wonder why scholars and people look and favour the BIble more then the quran?cause the Bible is more accurate
yeah, all credible historians believe the Jews were captive in Egypt and that Noah had two of every single animal in the world on one boat... come on, dude...
If the Quran would have been written by someone unknown, Christians would start saying how can you believe in that... But now they can point their fingers on themselves!! How can you believe in something you don't even know who wrote it!! Would you believe if you found a paper on the street telling you to worship god 1000 times a day? No!! They just do whatever their desires want...
The Bible was written by over 40 people. We may not know everyone who was involved in writing it but it's God's word not mans word. Test the phrophecies and historical accounts in the Bible. See what you find
true. but i could say it was someone else. man has proven that he can not be trusted. would you believe me if i wrote a newer testement and said it was gods word because he told me. no you would think me a liar or insane.
if it was gods word i would be more inclined to believe if he told a large group instead of one man alone on a mountain. and it would have alot less inacuracies such as the world is flat and the universe is geo centric.
Huh? world being flat? Geo centric universe? Where does it say that? Remember, over 40 people wrote the scriptures that make up the Bible. God didn't speak to just one person.
no problem. a quick google search finds it. here are some quotes directly from the bible.
"take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it (Job 38:12-13) "The earth takes shape like clay under a seal." (Job 38:14)
the earth has no edges and clay seals are flattened not orbs. you could also do a quick google search for geo centric universe in the bibl and get similar results.
If you read the whole passage you would see that it's God that's talking and He is making a point, meaning that only He has the power to form and cause change to the earth. Read from verse 1. God used some metaphors to get His point across.
these are just 2 examples there are more. and it says the earth is flat. there are others in there like i said about the sun going around the earth and the earth being the center of the universe.
i thought the bible was suppossed to be literal word for word. thats what all the preachers and televangalists say.
Not all preachers are Godly. If the Bible was all literal then half the statements would make no sense. Many times comparisons were used so we could understand a point. Check it out
i understand that but many are not literal. when it says the world is flat and that the sun revolves around the earth and the earth has never moved i take that as being literal as has man for thousands of years.
so you cannot take the quran literally like it says you can? So stop talkin shit when the Bible use metaphores... no one was imprisoned for life saying that the world is earth is like a carpet? Well, if u take it like what the quran say u can, literally, it means the world is flat. and another part of the quran says it is egg shaped. Contradicting... imagine an egg laid out like a carpet...
the differance being men were killed for saying it was not literal and even today many say the bible is the "literal word of god" people died in wars over it being or not being the word of god. and i never said the quran was any better. they are both made up by men who died thousands of years ago.
and the shape of the earth is closer to an egg than it is to being flat as it states in the bible.
the real truth is deeper than the literal. but the literal idea is important, deeper truths are not revealed to the people who take it literal, they usually accept the literal, and go off with it in every direction.
when the gnostics say "world", they arin't talking about planet earth, but the physical world. material world :)
@cheeseballs85 With the new youtube layout I am going to have to ask you to which comment you are referring for me to respond. If you are responding to the "the bible says the earth is flat" then yes it does say that one more than one occasion.
@cheeseballs85 Isaiah 40:22 22 He sits enthroned above the CIRCLE OF THE EARTH, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in.
there are also these others.
Isaiah 11:12, Revelation 7:1, Job 38:13, Jeremiah 16:19 and others. There are also quotes from the bible that state the earth does not move and does not rotate and the sun goes around the earth as the moon does.
@cheeseballs85 The earth is not a sphere. Also the bible quote does not say sphere it says circle. As in a pancake. Or a pizza. Or the letter O. And since when does saying the world does not move and is immobile a metaphor. They are not metaphors. At least not when they were written.
@HybridD91 They didnt say sphere. They didnt say ball they didnt even say egg. It says circle. The bible also says the world has four corners(dont know how a circle has corners) and that the earth is stationary and everything in the universe rotates around the earth.
The bible is full of fictitious fallacies and flat out lies. By the way the bible endorses slavery. Do you really find slavery to be moral and just. The god of the bible says it is.
@tinylittlegnat2 I never said I believed the Bible to be true. I just corrected your statement regarding the Earth's shape. I know it said circle. The Hebrew word[chuwg/chug] used in Isaiah 40:22 is circle when translated. I know the crap about the Bible, saying the Earth came before the sun and was originally water. Saying light was created before the Sun[star] and other stars. That's what make light. It says the moon is a light. The creation story has been disproven, people just ignore it.
The name of the man that wrote the first five books in the Bible called Genesis,Exodus,Leviticus,Numbe rs and Deuteronomy was Bez-a-leel. For he was the man that wrote these 5 books however Moses wrote the books that is in the ark of covenant. And we can show this for it is told in the Bible if you look
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
The Holiest of the Holy Books, i.e. the Holy Quran, has very righteously said about the beliefs and preachings of Christianity as "Nothing but Guess Work".
This video is a very open and clear proof of the 'Guess Works' of Christianity.
@aristotleuk Jesus was mentioned in the koran. So if its all guess work why would mohammed use it in his book and why would allah allow his word to be so messed up if he does have infinite power?
Sounds like your all perfect god fucked up. and not just fucked up but fucked up for several hundered years.
it is the pentateuch, that pointed to the gnostic gopsels, the penteteuch was all prophesy that was fullfilled in jesus christ the pentateuch talked about the future massiah
the gospels are where those prophesys came true.. well most of them anyway we still have the book of revalations to look forwward to but glory to god the christians wont suffer the judgment that is written in that book becuase we trust in christ to save us from the wrath to come becuase of our saviour
uumm.... God wrote the bible all he did was use the hands of men, so the big deal aint who put the pen to the paper or in this case the pen to the scroll, but to beleive in, cling to trust in, everything that is written in it glory to God i dont have to run to my local temple or search the mountain tops for some dead sea scrolls all i have to do is lean over my dresser
the point is this: the early "fathers" who gathered the bible decided to take some gospels in consideration, and ignored others, so what is the guarantee that they didn't take the wrong andfalse ones? and left the truthful ones aside?
I think my point was already clear at the first hand
no it wasn't. I clearly understood what you were saying about the gnostic gospels being left out (early 'fathers'? - do you even know how the gospels were selected?) I'm sure she does too. My point is that the gospels don't compose the entirety of the bible, and there's no guarantee either way if the four that were selected were truthful, but she can believe what she wants. Why challenge her? she's watching this video, she must have some idea what's going on.
of course nobody knows who wrote them, but it doesn't change the fact that the woman believes them to be divinely inspired - there's nothing wrong with that.
there are way too many different kinds of christians to answer that representatively of christianity. some groups believe it to be literally factual, others know better.
How do you account for the fact that Baruch was written as to being the scribe as recorded in the Book of Jeremiah, in other words like we find in Paul's letters a scribe was writting them for the author which was not unheard of in Bibical/Ancient times. Also the history channel shows a balance view and doesn't come out and say that Baruch DID write those books, they are just presenting diffrent views.
I must say, I find this whole account exteremly difficult to understand or follow - it is just far too disjointed. The fact of a seal being discovered whose owner is Baruch (the scribe of Jeremiah) in no way indicates that Baruch is the author of any book of the Bible. It just doesn't follow!
You are right, psandbergnz, it doesn't follow. But they don't say that. What they say is that IF Baruch is the author of deuteronomy, then when you look at his seal (which is probably his), then you are looking at a seal of one of the authors of the bible. Its a conditional statement, that's all.
Im a firm believer in god but i have a question. Lets say my best friend(lord forbid), or otha close people to me go to hell because they did bad things in there life. And i was choosen to go to heaven how could i hapily roam heaven knowing my close friend, or wateva it may be is burning eternally?

It's funny to see documentaries like this with multiple videos lose viewer as each segment ends.
The belivers get fed up, can't historically or logically defend their belifs, and stop watching
The non-belivers become bored and realize they don't give enough of a fuck to keep watching.

@hallalmart The Quran says in Sura (chapter) 20: 102 that the blue eye is Guilty and they shall be condemned. Are they not talking about white people ? It also says in Sura 4:34 that husbands are allowed to beat their wives.

If you ask me, the similar writings only further proves the divine inspiration of the scriptures.
pwnageAAXAApker 1 year ago
@pwnageAAXAApker nah it doesn't - these are just quoted texts which where important back then...there was no internet so people needed to write down books and exchange information taking looong time periods passing it from one place to the other. if you look at it that way churches where a network of spreading information...pretty neat huh? first internet-network was invented 2000 years ago xD
abaex 9 months ago
@abaex then how do you explain their willingness to devote their whole lives to writing the Scriptures? If it were just something like that, there would be no need to do so, nor to give up everything they owned to serve God even if it meant giving up their life if it came to that.
pwnageAAXAApker 9 months ago
Well...authors just like to write stuff, artists like to draw, musicians like to do music...why would they devote their whole lives to that? Because they love what they do. The problem is if it was a good working scam of course they would dedicate their life to this too - I could also argument like that. But most of the bible seem to be chronicles and letters...it looks more like jobs - writing letters, archiving them, writing chronicles & some wrote sagas for entertainment. That's possible too.
abaex 9 months ago
@abaex but if it were just a profession, they wouldn't be willing to die for it. That is what I meant.
pwnageAAXAApker 9 months ago
ah...but well lots of Christians claim that Moslems are evil & satanic too but they would also die for their beliefs.

MrKevMan 1 year ago
Its all just semantics ... there is no need to put the bible, or any Holy Books for the matter, under the microscope ... just use it as a guideline use your own initiative and rational thought to discern which are relevant and which are no longer so ... and i believe the Church at that time claimed the earth was flat and the earth not the sun was the centre of the universe ... though i have no idea if that is witten in the bible itself ...

why would this make the Bible less valid as the word of God is the question.
zoarXgold 2 years ago
@zoarXgold Because if it were God's word then it would remain error free as God being omnipotent it is not in God's favor to make errors (as this is an association to humans being limited compared to God). God is consistent but if there were contradictions, then you are going to naturally start questioning the validity, authenticity and sequencing of God's power.

And when did god say he was perfect? God and all of its abilities and personalities and accomplisments are just inventions of primative people as control devices. Anyone who studies history can see that.
MrKevMan 1 year ago
@MrKevMan The most learned and intellectually able people are the ones who attempt to re-create and establish themselves as self-sufficient beings! The reality of this all is people are NOT self-sufficient! The law of cause and effect was created by God all-mighty! Taking Oxygen and water for example, we can never live without these essentials! No matter what belief or lack of belief you are apart of! How is it we can create complex technologies but fail to prevent old age and death?
BluThunder247 1 year ago
@BluThunder247 "How is it we can create complex technologies but fail to prevent old age and death?"--Because nature puts an expiration date to keep things balanced, not only that, we aren't that advance to get close to "immortality". There isn't enough resources to support an immortal species, imagine those sick freaks in the OT living our time, people would be killed left and right. Is that question supposed to be thought provoking btw? Hope not
HybridD91 1 year ago
@HybridD91 So who created that perfect synergy of Life and Death? It can't have been chance because in perfect order simulation we also create things with resources that have cycle times (ie automotive engineering for example - wear and tear) We create things for the benefit for ourselves by the mercy of God. He ordained those things for us on earth! The question isn't thought provoking but rather thought stimulating! The question was for MrKevMan for the sake of argument and no1 else. Peace
BluThunder247 1 year ago
@BluThunder247 "It can't have been chance"---Prove it. Saying God did it because you don't understand it doesn't answer any thing. If you don't understand, that's where your assertions should stop.

BluThunder247 1 year ago
@HybridD91 Question can be deflected back at you. Prove that God does NOT exist. You can't answer it either because there are no utilities or resources to prove or disprove that! If you don't believe in God that is fine but when you have lived a life of sheer material leisure and worldy gains and have nothing to take with you when you die and you found out God exist, who will save you?
BluThunder247 1 year ago
@BluThunder247 I don't need to prove anything because I'm not the one making assertions, you are. Do you even know what an assertion is? If your God holds illogical attributes such as omniscience, omnipotence, AND omnibenevolence, there is no need for proof, logic alone will defeat it. Like a square fitting a circle half it's size, it's illogical and logic alone can show square will not fit in a circle half it's size.
HybridD91 1 year ago
@HybridD91 You are interpreting them as assertions! Saying something as simple as it does not make sense is not an assertion, its hypothetical to say the least! It is logical to ask these questions as it has been instilled in our nature to be inquisitive. Your 'shape' example is illogical to begin with as it only represents tangibility. If i slap you in the face can you say it is logical to say that 'pain' does NOT exist on the basis of not physically seeing it?
BluThunder247 1 year ago
@BluThunder247 If you can't answer your own question with some sort of science, other than god must have done it. What else do you think caused all this?
spareaxe 1 year ago
@spareaxe I never refuted science! Science is a way of learning about the intricacies of existence and how things are formed! Science is rational as it gives us an insight! Remember, a few centuries ago science was a tool used to define life as God has stated. It is a mircale in itself! Just coz i believe in God doesn't mean i disprove science! Science and religion work hand in hand in this life!

Then a few Generations later Darius III is killed when Alexander takes over Persia.
Did the writers of Alexander history talk about the Jewish state?

The ark was not filled with every two animal that we have now, it was about 2,000 years after creation, so there was hardly any animals upon the earth at that time, plus after the flood animals evolved which is called micro evolution, there was only one type species of dogs, cats, birds and so on, so that takes just about half of the percentage away upon the ark ,some animals where smaller in size then other so that would save some space,

it cant be gods word if it was written by man. pure and simple. its mans word not gods
tinylittlegnat2 2 years ago
Suppose if I told you to write something and directed what you should write? It would still be my words but you would have written it down. Simple
freshtildeathonline 2 years ago
true. but i could say it was someone else. man has proven that he can not be trusted. would you believe me if i wrote a newer testement and said it was gods word because he told me. no you would think me a liar or insane.
if it was gods word i would be more inclined to believe if he told a large group instead of one man alone on a mountain. and it would have alot less inacuracies such as the world is flat and the universe is geo centric.
tinylittlegnat2 2 years ago
Huh? world being flat? Geo centric universe? Where does it say that? Remember, over 40 people wrote the scriptures that make up the Bible. God didn't speak to just one person.
freshtildeathonline 2 years ago
it says in the bible that the world is flat and the sun goes around the earth. when copernicus said otherwise the catholic church imprisoned him.
yes way over 40 but amzingly no one was around when god "spoke" to them
tinylittlegnat2 2 years ago
Could you fine me where it says that about the sun and eaqrth? Now the Catholics have there own Bible that they have edited.
freshtildeathonline 2 years ago
no problem. a quick google search finds it. here are some quotes directly from the bible.
"take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it (Job 38:12-13) "The earth takes shape like clay under a seal." (Job 38:14)
the earth has no edges and clay seals are flattened not orbs. you could also do a quick google search for geo centric universe in the bibl and get similar results.
tinylittlegnat2 2 years ago
If you read the whole passage you would see that it's God that's talking and He is making a point, meaning that only He has the power to form and cause change to the earth. Read from verse 1. God used some metaphors to get His point across.
freshtildeathonline 2 years ago
these are just 2 examples there are more. and it says the earth is flat. there are others in there like i said about the sun going around the earth and the earth being the center of the universe.
i thought the bible was suppossed to be literal word for word. thats what all the preachers and televangalists say.
tinylittlegnat2 2 years ago
Not all preachers are Godly. If the Bible was all literal then half the statements would make no sense. Many times comparisons were used so we could understand a point. Check it out
freshtildeathonline 2 years ago
i understand that but many are not literal. when it says the world is flat and that the sun revolves around the earth and the earth has never moved i take that as being literal as has man for thousands of years.
tinylittlegnat2 2 years ago
And the quran said the Earth is like carpet... not a metaphor?
TurboNosHayabusa1 2 years ago
probably a metaphor. but to my knowledge no one was imprisoned for life for saying otherwise.
like the bible the quran was written by several people but in a closer timeline to the origional author than the bible
tinylittlegnat2 2 years ago
so you cannot take the quran literally like it says you can? So stop talkin shit when the Bible use metaphores... no one was imprisoned for life saying that the world is earth is like a carpet? Well, if u take it like what the quran say u can, literally, it means the world is flat. and another part of the quran says it is egg shaped. Contradicting... imagine an egg laid out like a carpet...
TurboNosHayabusa1 2 years ago
the differance being men were killed for saying it was not literal and even today many say the bible is the "literal word of god" people died in wars over it being or not being the word of god. and i never said the quran was any better. they are both made up by men who died thousands of years ago.
and the shape of the earth is closer to an egg than it is to being flat as it states in the bible.
tinylittlegnat2 2 years ago
but the quran also said the earh is laid out flat like a carpet. so which is which?
TurboNosHayabusa1 2 years ago
the real truth is deeper than the literal. but the literal idea is important, deeper truths are not revealed to the people who take it literal, they usually accept the literal, and go off with it in every direction.
when the gnostics say "world", they arin't talking about planet earth, but the physical world. material world :)

There are also quotes from the bible that state the earth does not move and does not rotate and the sun goes around the earth as the moon does.
tinylittlegnat2 1 year ago
@tinylittlegnat2 the world is a sphere. a sphere is a 3 dimensional circle. look it up. and the others are simply metaphors.
cheeseballs85 1 year ago
@cheeseballs85 The earth is not a sphere. Also the bible quote does not say sphere it says circle. As in a pancake. Or a pizza. Or the letter O. And since when does saying the world does not move and is immobile a metaphor. They are not metaphors. At least not when they were written.
tinylittlegnat2 1 year ago
@tinylittlegnat2 The Earth is closer to a "sphere" than a flat disc. It isn't a perfect sphere but resembles a sphere nonetheless.
HybridD91 1 year ago
@HybridD91 They didnt say sphere. They didnt say ball they didnt even say egg. It says circle. The bible also says the world has four corners(dont know how a circle has corners) and that the earth is stationary and everything in the universe rotates around the earth.
The bible is full of fictitious fallacies and flat out lies. By the way the bible endorses slavery. Do you really find slavery to be moral and just. The god of the bible says it is.
tinylittlegnat2 1 year ago
@tinylittlegnat2 I never said I believed the Bible to be true. I just corrected your statement regarding the Earth's shape. I know it said circle. The Hebrew word[chuwg/chug] used in Isaiah 40:22 is circle when translated. I know the crap about the Bible, saying the Earth came before the sun and was originally water. Saying light was created before the Sun[star] and other stars. That's what make light. It says the moon is a light. The creation story has been disproven, people just ignore it.

the gnostic gospels have nothing to do with the pentateuch or the old testament, so what's your point? she can believe what she wants.
aernoth 3 years ago
the point is this: the early "fathers" who gathered the bible decided to take some gospels in consideration, and ignored others, so what is the guarantee that they didn't take the wrong andfalse ones? and left the truthful ones aside?
I think my point was already clear at the first hand
angelinaaa123 3 years ago
no it wasn't.

How do you account for the fact that Baruch was written as to being the scribe as recorded in the Book of Jeremiah, in other words like we find in Paul's letters a scribe was writting them for the author which was not unheard of in Bibical/Ancient times. Also the history channel shows a balance view and doesn't come out and say that Baruch DID write those books, they are just presenting diffrent views.
ozzycda 4 years ago
I must say, I find this whole account exteremly difficult to understand or follow - it is just far too disjointed. The fact of a seal being discovered whose owner is Baruch (the scribe of Jeremiah) in no way indicates that Baruch is the author of any book of the Bible. It just doesn't follow!
psandbergnz 4 years ago
You are right, psandbergnz, it doesn't follow. But they don't say that. What they say is that IF Baruch is the author of deuteronomy, then when you look at his seal (which is probably his), then you are looking at a seal of one of the authors of the bible. Its a conditional statement, that's all.
vdizhoor 4 years ago
