In the time of Muhammad(saw) a enemy got caught while he was spying on the Muslims in Medina. The man was leader of a tribe and had he's own army, the Prophet(saw) ordered him to be bound to a pillar in the mosk for 3 days. After the 3 days the man was yelling that he would come back and kill them all, the Prophet(saw) said release him and let him go. The man did walk until they couldn't see him and then a bit later he started to go back. He said i didn't want any to believe that i was forced.
Has anyone had in mind that they made hem say this.
Even if they didnt there is something called stockholm syndrome in which the man who was kidnaped is identifying with his kidnappers. What about him now if those Talibans have such a high moral standarts. Does the red cross visiting him? Is he even alive?
@hnrgr10 well it has taken a year for this vid to come out,it was a year since the last 1 and any way they know what they have to get him to say theyve had plenty of practice
Because secretly you've gotta wondered....The government is letting him get away. From what I've heard when Bush was president, according to the documentaries it was Bush who planted the bombs in the World Trade Center.
I think he meant alot of this the way he says it etc.
if he didn't belive it he'd rather be shot that's how army are trained.
I'm White british I think America and the uk government should be brought down to earth and the American people to start opening their eyes. Americas scum, can't argue with 2 nukes 5 wars. wats on the agenda this century ..
I'm ashamed of my country. also why the fuck hasn't the EU put George bush up for war crimes ? if I here one more illuminati thing ima go mad lol
after spending so much time with the taliban, and probably having many many conversations with him, inevitably getting them to think their way, he may partially believe this which is why it sounds more fluent than it did last tape before they had the chance to talk to him. Iraq definetly wasn't a justifiable war, but go do some research on the taliban. they are an evil corrupt government, are responsible for a large amount of narcotic traffic in the us, and the refused to turned over a man who..
so on that hypothesis, shall we invade and devastate any country who traffics drugs to the u.s? come on,it's been proved america is corrpt, only 7 years ago or invasion of iraq has been proved evil and wrong,WAKE UP
honestly, I'm getting to the point where I want our boys home. fuck you all, we'll just pull them up and lock everyone out. we show support for other countries and what do we get? attacked. we don't go to war with anyone and what happens? we're attacked. usa isn't the enemy here, over 1 billion muslims are. a statistical number of radical muslims that exist today. they're poor, so they think the only way to fix that is kill everyone that works for their riches, ass holes
intentionally killed thousands of people and struck three parts of the heart of america,us,and our people. The final strike would have hit the center of the heart of our country if it wasn't for those brave americans who stood tall for this country and tried to take the plane.I hate war,I hate seeing the losses,it saddens me more than anything to see so much family destroyed. but those ultimate sacrifices are what lead to peace and freedom. germany, russia(cold war), japan.its worth it in the end
lol not just the centre but the heart of the centre.
err...I left two comments one in responses to an anti American poster from the UK starting with 'easy there fellow brit' and the other where I observed that although I agree with the soldier I suspect fowl play.

I don't however think that the soldiers serving today deserve the same veneration as the WWII/Korea/Vietnam vets.

VIETNAM WAS VIETNAM BECAUSE OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

I dont understand why the Taliban would have him read propaganda when they should know that we know that they know its all bullshit. So? And dying for ones country is an honour. There are thousands of more soldiers that will take this privates place because its better to die young and courageous than to have lived a long cowardly life.
The Taliban dont make much sense. Look, if we legalize all drugs incl heroin, what industry would be left for the Taliban to over see? Camel milking?
I live rite beside Barra taliban stronghold and called the worlds largest illegal gun trade. Ha thts rite, i see it from my window, 5 minute walk away:D
Do you see these clips as an effort to destabilize America and break it politically now that it's broken financially?
It'll be a sad day if America falls. The beacon of freedom on the planet, whether it's all based on lies and illusion or not it's what everyone believes.
Once they stop believing in freedom we'll all be forced to believe in serfdom. Probably some pseudo Zionist theocratic monarchist hell hole or maybe even Islamic sharia law
What would be the purpose of faking it? To bring attention to the war? To garner sympathy from the American people? Really dude, theres no purpose. Its real and tommorow we´ll forget him except his family and friends.
You´re making a blanket statement. I dont know who or what your source is to assume all videos were faked. To what end? If it were faked, then people will either want to pull out or become more resolved to stay in. Besides, the govts mandate is to do the right thing and protect the people from Pakistani attacks. Nothing wrong with that.....with or without a hostage.
Listen man by your statement about the government proves to me we have nothing to talk about. Look and you shall find cause I dont have the time or patience to spell it out for you. Sorry if this is rude but we live in completely different paradigms. Also... that is not capitalism.
Thats not an answer. Thats a cop out, dude. If your paradigm involves slippery misdirects and no requirements to back up any statements with some semblance of plausability or proof then yeah we part company here.
Nuking the place would destroy the opium. The CIA would oppose to the destruction of its lucrative business.
Leaving them alone? Not an option. The military industrial complex does not get its profits from leaving other countries (and innocent civilians) alone.
The good citizens in this world need to rise up, destroy the military industrial complex, and destroy the control mechanisms that have been put in place by the real enemy: THE BANKS.
I think you are misinterpreting the Pentagon's business in Afghanistan. The region wasn't taken over solely for drug pushing purposes. It had alot to do with oil pipeline routes. Nuking the place may destroy any heroin crops; but who needs control of dope when you have a vicegrip on major oil routes abroad and credit production at home? We wanted to control that major intersection of oil pipelines in Afghanistan before the Chinese decided to pounce. The Russians tried the same and failed.
But the CIA makes WAY more money on the heroin trade than you are aware. Most people don't know that drug production in Afghanistan has had a 40-fold increase since the US invaded the country in 2001. Money talks.
I'm aware of the oil situation in re to Afghanistan, and the history vis-a-vis the Soviets (not Russians), but the entire system leads to ONE common source:
It has nothing to do with oil, for the US to protect such a vast pipeline stretching through 3 countries would take a million men, Afghanistan is not Iraq. The US are in Afghanistan for the heroin trade that keeps Wall St. afloat, the strategic importance beside Pakistan (which the US would like to see collapse and balkanise- this is happening now) and the encircling of Russia and China with it's allies, India and if they overthrow the regime in Iran they will install a favourable one to the US.
Leave "them" alone? Who are you referring to? The largely Pakistani nationals who cross over the border into Afghanistan killing women and children? I'd hate to be your neighbour. I could be screaming for help from an attack and youd claim its not your business.
Exterminate an entire nation, huh? Thats your tounge in cheek other option....how about we simply allow the Afghans gain strength and we cover them using our drones from the beaches of California?
The mainstream media are so fucking shit, they never show a full-length video of that American terrorist, captured by The Taliban. What would you expect, when 90% of it's run by Jews/Zionists?
The situation in Afghanistan is very bad and also in the NWFP, Pakistan. I don't know why but the NWFP are also Afghans but are separated by artificial Durand line the target are Afghan Muslims but why I don't know!
We have to stop this war I don't believe that there actually is Taliban or Alqeeda all are just games played by those who sit in there seat and read the news and are happy by looking at this!
I'd like to know why he's got his sunnies on. I'm not disagreeing with any of the comments here, it just bothers me a bit that it's so hard to make out his face.
i dont think he has control of what hes wearing i mean he is a pow right they could have made him wear a burka, i bet his momma dont have a problem recognizing his face
When will the lying, scamming and killing for profit end?
As we start to stir from our long stupor and stop participating in the $-profit conflict, the COWARDS who orchestrate the wars will find it necessary to concoct more elaborate lies and events to justify their "For Profit" ventures.
Ffuel starting to climb back to previous record highs on speculation & greed!
War continues under the "peaceful" Democratic leadership.
the British lost 150 years, the Russians some 30 years back and America and NATO are losing now, one should understand that the historical precedent is with the people of Afghanistan and the region of Khorasan! Private Bergdahl is right, this is turning out to be another Vietnam!
Im going to assume, since he is captive, that his speech was written out for him, as the message the Taliban wants us to hear. Which....is more eye opening then had these been his OWN words. Its means the Taliban is on the same awareness as we all are.
The only way now to stop the policing of the pipeline and stealing of the oil that our government is doing, is for the military now to take a stand and say enuf. Stop enlisting. Be in contempt. AWOL was big in the 70's.
I belive that this generation (2010 onwards) will be a lot like the 70's . Not just in spirit (of humanity and peace and love) but generally. The Vietnam war started the movement of peace in the 70s and yes, were going back there and thats a good thing.
Thanks for posting this. I imagine that there are hundreds more like him that are coming to the realization that the Afghanistan war is a fraud brought by the stupid traitorous agenda of our criminal government.
The point here is not weather Mr. Bergdahl is stressed or telling the truth or being coerced. The point is he should NEVER had been in Afghanistan chasing ghosts.
Our traitorous "leaders" in Washington know there is no such thing as Al Qaeda and Osama. Osama died in Nov. 2001.
This "war" is simply to build gas pipelines for the Merhav Corp. who is trying to get gas to India from Turkmenistan via a pipeline that goes right through Afghan provinces. Nothing more.
@nesNYC to be honest i think they(meaning our shit faced governments)will be for this war for more than pipe lines for gas,all raw materials that they can get there hands on and killing our young genration
he looks and sounds so calm and focused because this man has woken up and is speaking the TRUTH about the this criminal "war"...
"I will promise you this, that if we have not gotten our troops out by the time I am president, it is the first thing I will do. I will get our troops home. We will bring an end to this war. You can take that to the bank. " - Barack Obama Campaign Promise - October 27, 2007
what the fuck is this??? Helmet, field-dress (cleaned), SUNGLASSES, and where is he... the dining room of the HYATT Regency? This is such propaganda frikkin bull. If you think this is legit... have fun, knock yourself out. He sounds so stressed... the capture and interrogation must have been hell.
Absolutely one of the most important testaments I have heard in a very long time.
Good on you for uploading the whole video clip and not just the mass media 1 minute segment.
I think its very important for people to notice that he doesn't read this from anywhere; He seems calm and not scared or forced. He brings up some very valid info and most soldiers who are about to be shipped out, should see this vid and hear his words. I get tears in my eyes. I wish everyone was like this man!
strange times, just spent six months working with a lady from afganistan. can we please have a video of the women who lived in afganistan when the taliban took over.the taliban are not real afganis.
if i had a gun pointed at me, i'd get a bit cold and rational too. Not saying thats whats happenning here, but its worth noting that he's wearing sunglasses in a not too bright environment. Eyes give away a lot, dont you think. Dont get me wrong, i dont disagree with what he's saying, its just meaningless if he said it under duress.
@DonAlcopop ~ This thought occurred to me also. I will add only this though.
What he says IS true ( what our gov't and military did / doing to war prisoners which is deplorable and should be inexcusable ) He is also correct about what he IS saying about the Afghani armies. Also that this IS an occupation by the U.S. Is he under duress to say what he is saying ? Perhaps. It doesn't change the " truth " of what he is saying .
@Renegade, good observations. I may add, when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan in the 80's, the US was funding and arming the resistance and was so good at it, the Soviets were actually repelled and forced to leave.
It makes me wonder, who is actually arming and organizing the resistance today? Look at their guns! These people can't even feed themselves properly yet they have guns and ammo to fight a modern army. Think about that one for a minute.
@nesNYC , Agreed and it is a fact of history that the U.S. and the U.K. has funded and armed "both" sides of most warring all over the world so it's a win win situation with "their" people in place to serve the gov'ts and corporations interests. . I totally know how deep the corruption goes. The issue is when do the rest of the U.S citizens realize the deception ?
I couldn't agree more. The sadest thing is that i dont think our armed forces will ever be truely held to account for their behaviour, mostly i would imagine because it was sanctioned behaviour. I just know the knee jerk reaction of the tabloid reading mentality and i'm sorry, they just wont see it that way, especially if it ends up being proven that he was presurised into doing it. That said, i must stress that he looks in better health than any "insurgent" i have seen pictured in our custody
@DonAlcopop ~ Again I agree but one must realise the people who enlist. Most times there is little choice left for them . Not bad people but people with perhaps fake patriotisms, no where to trun , convicted of a crime and they could opt out for military etc. Read : Deer Hunting with Jesus. Brings in an angle many american's are unaware of. If anyone should be held accountable it must be the governments and corporations for they alone assembled these debacles of death and destruction.
He doesn't look terrified or miserable at all. He doesn't shiver in his voice, his hands don't shake, he seems very calm and very focused on the message he is giving to his fellow soldiers.
like i said. Its not weither or not he's afraid. it's should we take stockholm syndrome in account. Because yes he sounds very pro right now. and he believes what he's saying
Finally a soldier with courage that is prepared to challenge the unlawful orders that put his life in danger. He is a hero. I wish all the troops would stand up and say "FUCK OFF" to the illegitemate US GOVT
That is so true. What we are seeing here is not the complete truth, but it's not a complete lie either. He is just a pawn. One thing is 100% true though and that is If he wasn't there in the first place we wouldn't be having this discussion.
The US government don't care he's captured if they did execute him, to them it's just 1 loss, sad to say that.

Thats your tounge in cheek other option....how about we simply allow the Afghans gain strength and we cover them using our drones from the beaches of California?

what did you expect when going to afghan ? celebrations on the streets in your honor ? Really the US should just stop waging these pointless war

The mainstream media are so fucking shit, they never show a full-length video of that American terrorist, captured by The Taliban. What would you expect, when 90% of it's run by Jews/Zionists?

Hi Everyone I am from Afghanistan province KUNAR.

When will the lying, scamming and killing for profit end?
As we start to stir from our long stupor and stop participating in the $-profit conflict, the COWARDS who orchestrate the wars will find it necessary to concoct more elaborate lies and events to justify their "For Profit" ventures.
Ffuel starting to climb back to previous record highs on speculation & greed!

the British lost 150 years, the Russians some 30 years back and America and NATO are losing now, one should understand that the historical precedent is with the people of Afghanistan and the region of Khorasan! Private Bergdahl is right, this is turning out to be another Vietnam!

There is nothing we can do to end the war is there?

Im going to assume, since he is captive, that his speech was written out for him, as the message the Taliban wants us to hear. Which....is more eye opening then had these been his OWN words. Its means the Taliban is on the same awareness as we all are.
The only way now to stop the policing of the pipeline and stealing of the oil that our government is doing, is for the military now to take a stand and say enuf. Stop enlisting. Be in contempt. AWOL was big in the 70's.

Bring the troops home where they are needed here!

I belive that this generation (2010 onwards) will be a lot like the 70's . Not just in spirit (of humanity and peace and love) but generally. The Vietnam war started the movement of peace in the 70s and yes, were going back there and thats a good thing.

Nothing more.

he looks and sounds so calm and focused because this man has woken up and is speaking the TRUTH about the this criminal "war"...
"I will promise you this, that if we have not gotten our troops out by the time I am president, it is the first thing I will do. I will get our troops home. We will bring an end to this war. You can take that to the bank. " - Barack Obama Campaign Promise - October 27, 2007

RamFan4u 2 years ago
the man is a captive, one could debate stolkholm syndrome, but he's far too calm and rational to be afraid
Alkyrius 2 years ago
if i had a gun pointed at me, i'd get a bit cold and rational too. Not saying thats whats happenning here, but its worth noting that he's wearing sunglasses in a not too bright environment. Eyes give away a lot, dont you think. Dont get me wrong, i dont disagree with what he's saying, its just meaningless if he said it under duress.
DonAlcopop 2 years ago
@DonAlcopop ~ This thought occurred to me also. I will add only this though.
What he says IS true ( what our gov't and military did / doing to war prisoners which is deplorable and should be inexcusable ) He is also correct about what he IS saying about the Afghani armies. Also that this IS an occupation by the U.S. Is he under duress to say what he is saying ? Perhaps. It doesn't change the " truth " of what he is saying .
Those of us who know that...
...know that much...for sure.
RenegadeTimes 2 years ago 2
@Renegade, good observations. I may add, when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan in the 80's, the US was funding and arming the resistance and was so good at it, the Soviets were actually repelled and forced to leave.
It makes me wonder, who is actually arming and organizing the resistance today? Look at their guns! These people can't even feed themselves properly yet they have guns and ammo to fight a modern army. Think about that one for a minute.
nesNYC 2 years ago 4
@nesNYC , Agreed and it is a fact of history that the U.S. and the U.K. has funded and armed "both" sides of most warring all over the world so it's a win win situation with "their" people in place to serve the gov'ts and corporations interests. . I totally know how deep the corruption goes. The issue is when do the rest of the U.S citizens realize the deception ?
RenegadeTimes 2 years ago
I couldn't agree more. The sadest thing is that i dont think our armed forces will ever be truely held to account for their behaviour, mostly i would imagine because it was sanctioned behaviour. I just know the knee jerk reaction of the tabloid reading mentality and i'm sorry, they just wont see it that way, especially if it ends up being proven that he was presurised into doing it. That said, i must stress that he looks in better health than any "insurgent" i have seen pictured in our custody
DonAlcopop 2 years ago
@DonAlcopop ~ Again I agree but one must realise the people who enlist. Most times there is little choice left for them . Not bad people but people with perhaps fake patriotisms, no where to trun , convicted of a crime and they could opt out for military etc. Read : Deer Hunting with Jesus. Brings in an angle many american's are unaware of. If anyone should be held accountable it must be the governments and corporations for they alone assembled these debacles of death and destruction.
RenegadeTimes 2 years ago 2
Exactly.
I dont think he is scared or forced. HE looks and sounds so calm and focused.
TheBaByG 2 years ago 2
He doesn't look terrified or miserable at all. He doesn't shiver in his voice, his hands don't shake, he seems very calm and very focused on the message he is giving to his fellow soldiers.
TheBaByG 2 years ago 3
like i said. Its not weither or not he's afraid. it's should we take stockholm syndrome in account. Because yes he sounds very pro right now. and he believes what he's saying
