i remember my brother and i would play the hell out of this game. i always was hogan haha. for those bitching it was a console of the late 80's and early 90's, no console had the technological advances that we have nowadays. why complain that it didnt have a decent number of wrestlers or entrances...? for it's time it was good.

10 wrestlers, 3 match types and everybody has the same base attacks. Horribly dated nowadays. Superstars for the NES had finishers, which put it ahead of this one a little bit. I think this was Acclaim beginning their tradition of rushing games to the release.

God!! I remember watching this on tv back when I was 11!!! WrestleMania 8 was my very first live ppv, had to beg like hell to get the $30 to order the show and it was my biggest markout moment ever. I also managed to get this game around this time which was a bit suprising as I didn't have to to a whole lot of begging. The game was only good for about 2 years, then Royal Rumble for SNES blew it out of the water with finishers and the Rumble match option. But I had some good times with this.

That video game blew by the way. There were no entrances, you couldn't do finishing moves, and there were no gimmick matches (Royal Rumble, Steel Cage) The Raw video game, and Royal Rumble game were much better.
