This is why Asian cuisine is better than any European food. It's packed with layers of flavors and ingredients are so fresh. This is called Banh Mi by the way. It's the Vietnamese version of the baguette sandwich.

pourquoi filmer ça ? excellente question (^_^) pour plusieurs raisons, d'abord tout le monde ne connait pas forcément ce type de sandwich, donc c'est un peu à titre d'information (^_^), la patronne est sympa et très respectueuse, un peu de pub c'est la remercier pour sa gentillesse. yup, just ask for banh chung tet and they'll be more than willing to sell you a log especially around this time of year since that's what we eat for viet new year's

yeah pretty much. if they do it right, the actual log lasts for a long time. it's like our version of fruitcake, but savory and delicious haha. but on the weekends, you might not be able to get one since there are ppl stocking up for the holiday so get it first thing. oh and another thing, they also make dessert banh chung and they'll fill in some sweet fillings too so ask for the one with the mung bean and not the dessert one.
