@benboy803 You playing it on Virtual Console? Alright. . . If I were you, I'd reposition my hand so I have a finger on each button I use most. (i.e. thumb on 'B', forefinger on 'Y', and I can easily move to 'A' when I need to)

I also like how the characters don't just throw tea-parties and cry all the time. (in fact, no tea parties here at all!) Nonetheless, it is a try it before you buy it thing. It isn't for everyone. Also of note, the series is MUCH different than the god-awful 1980-2002 show.

There's always 1-3 bonus stages in each level in this game, as opposed to the first game where there can be (I think) 0-5 (or 6). Some of those DK coins are a bitch to find... It took me a LONG time to 100+% this game.

Donkey Kong Country 3 is underrated. The levels are just creative as in 2 (if not moreso). A lot of people just tend to single out and nitpick things (Kiddy Kong, not a huge gameplay leap like 2 was) rather than look at the game in it's own merits. DKC3 is actually my favorite of the three simply because it has the clever level design that made 2 amazing with much more refined difficulty. (2 spikes to an obscene degree later on)
