would this work if instead of cutting an area for my head, i just draped it over my shoulders like a poncho, and made a sniper veil to ware instead? i cant find elastic, and im on a budget so i figured the stalker suit would be the cheapest for me at the moment.

@VideoSk8Rs34 I get my netting from hobby stores like Hobby Lobby and Micheals. it hasn't broken for me yet. (it is supposed to be recycled fish netting) and i think it is only 1/2 inch. but it works.

use whichever suit you choose but make sure you dont put excess material in places wher it will get in the way, i would make sure you've got your bow handy when making it to avoid completing it then having to removes masses so it dos'nt obstruct your bow string.

Hi I wanted to ask a quick question. I'm in the process of makin a ghillie at the moment and I was wondering if the sniper veil approach instead of doing head cover with a boonie and attached netting would work if I was using jute thread and burlap as a material. I'm just worried the thread and burlap would be too heavy and would weigh the veil down, blocking my vision and doing a poor job of camouflaging my head in the process.

you can use whatever material you feel looks best, if you get a camo net availiable from army and navy or other surplus shops you can just take the leaves of of that, and you will have a net.
