at first I tried this with a 6mm JG shell with Matrix M130 spring, metal (bushings, piston head, cylinder head, metal air nozzle), high torque gears, polycarbonate piston w metal teeth. Shooting average 425fps in Alaskan weather around 35 degrees. the only part that failed was the wiring connector plug melted coz of a 3500Mah 25c Lipo

This STS is legit! Worth the price! Prior of using this product I broke 6 gearbox all called "reinforced/Lipo ready" (2) JGs, (1) KWA, (2) Matrix M120, (1) Matrix M150 with average of 3000 rounds @ 30-40 degrees in Alaska.

So, assuming I get one of these product and I slap a 450 fps spring in my v2 gun with a crap free JG gearbox shell, my gun will still run and the front won't crack. Albeit my piston will chip left and right because it's polycarbonate. Thus if my Holmesian deductions are correct, I can slap an aluminum piston in there with my aluminum head and not have to worry about cracking ever again even if I crank it up to 500, right?

thats why dont you play in cold and dry fire it, both of those things will mess up you gearbox, and dont say i have to have some glorified little part cause all of my guns work fine when i dont use them in conditions that are obviously bad for the gun

All my guns work fine in my bedroom ,too,trouble is , I don't fight in my bedroom .Because you so obviously miss the point , I'll reiterate .The purpose of the STS is to prevent V2 gearboxes from cracking under extreme conditions such as harsh winter weather which will make your gearbox brittle and prone to cracking and heavy upgrades which will make your gearbox prone to cracking .The idea is to have reliable weapons in ALL conditions.

After 1 Month of testing. Your STS product is still living up to its name. Here is the list of my current airsoft gun:

1. G&P SPR metal body w/ fixed stock.

2. Matrix Gearbox with M150 spring.

3. Matrix Magnum Motor.

The gearbox has already cracked before I installed the STS. After the STS installation, the gun is shooting fine. Now I can shoot guys within 200 feet easily with my gun.... LOL

Well, if you hadn't dry-fired the gun while running 564 fps, your gearbox wouldn't have cracked. They make 8mm/9mm bearing sized gearboxes that will hold up JUST fine to those fps levels, when not being dry-fired.

No, they wont. The colder the weather the more rigid the gearbox becomes. Dry fire or not, V2s will usually break.
