  • he was mad..the other guy sucked! has happend to me...

  • 0:12 OUT !

  • Federer in auto pilot

  • the title of this video.............thats what she said..

  • wow it looks like he doesnt put any effort into his shots, but still they are perfect

  • This should at least be a camera angle that they occasionally switch to during regular matches. It gives a great feel for how much spin pro's put on the ball, and i feel it's easier to try and emulate someone's strokes from this view than from 100 feet above them...

  • those calf muscles are ridiculous....

  • I don't think he has the best forehando on tour...

I think he is the best player alive, and thank God, on tour!!

  • Yeah right. Fuzzy Yellow Balls. ..

  • is roger, hitting with some lucky fan or something? i mean im not saying hes bad, but clearly Federer can get a better hitting parter

  • wow nice quality

  • Who wants to see my fuzzy yellow balls?

  • @TheFartoholic no one you faggg

  • is anyone else mesmerized by this?!

  • It looks so easy from how Roger plays

  • wow even his calfs are buff

  • Yea Nadal is essence of fitness but Fed is like a savant, of tennis strokes, perfect. I just wish this was longer with more backhands (1handed has been harder to find & learn these days)

  • the coach is supposed to be better than the player. not in roger's case.

  • It seems he's playin' some shots a little bit unwillingly...

  • it looks so much fatser from this perspective

  • the k six one tour lmao

  • i love Roger. i have the same play style :D

  • Does anyone know who is Roger's partner, over there?

  • Love his "liquid whip", both on forehand and backhand

  • Whoever gave a negative vote to this one doesn't know a shit about tennis..

  • Federer DEFINITELY isn't one of my favorite players, but his strokes sure are a pleasure to watch.

  • nadals forehand is better

  • @Simonsmsn ............... r u high

  • watching this is like having sex...

  • i'm a tennis player and at the level they are hitting it, it's the level my turnoments are xD! and they are not even trying xD!

  • @DonChilenito actually you know, for a junior (i'm assuming you're 14-17), the level of play shown in the video in a tournament would be quite awesome :D

  • got a boner for his slice shot...beautiful

  • 0:48 skills

  • No vibration dampener ??? @39 sec.

  • @AZIONEnchilada He uses feel,BLX

  • he has billboys even in training

  • in competition his backhand sounds like a shotgun, no joke.

  • i want to watch a pro match with this camera angle

  • @Svninja10 They have them sometimes for davis cup at France's home game they had a full match at that angle its amazing.

  • i think federer has the best technique in tennis of all time. his shots are the best, he can perform every single hit in tennis perfectly. but i think overall nadal is the better player. he's more effective. if its just about who makes more points to win the game nadal is a little bit better !

  • @dietasse24 I don't think Nadal is more effective, his game relies too much on fitness and strength. He is injured quite a lot resulting in long recoveries, retiring from matches and tournaments. His style is best suited for claycourts and with that style he also wins a lot on hard and grasscourts but players are catching up with him now. Federer in his prime relied more on (surface based) tactics and technique and therefore he could perform AND win match after match.

  • i like his partners style of backhand

  • I can win 100 grand slams watching this!

  • 0:40 it's the guy from the Nadal practice video! look!

  • how is federer playing

    he is terribile

  • even his laziest shots are so effortless and precise

  • it looks so effortless....

  • That back hand looks amazing from this angle.

  • Herr Federer ist der Held der Schweizer Leute. Der Schläger ist nicht sein "bitch". Solch ein Gedanke ist ekelhaft.

  • Herr Federer ist der Held der Schweizer Leute.

  • he just makes it look soooo easy. his motions are so fluent.

  • who is the person he is hitting with?

  • @TheMSwarriors

    who cares

  • @415Underdog oh i was jus wondering if it was a competition winner or sumthing. cus its pretty awesome to be able to hit with him.

  • so effortless....

  • @grrrjames

    its practice.

    its just hitting.

i guess u never played tennis

  • @415Underdog that was a compliment dickhead

  • @415Underdog you train harder than you play so it becomes even more effortless on the court, i guess your retarded and never even touched a racquet before

  • @grrrjames

    ive played and still am.

    btw-

playing tennis on nintendo wii really isnt playing tennis.

i guess ppl walk well because they practice hard at it

    "so effortless.........."

  • @grrrjames wtf that doesn't make any sense. in a match you're more focused than in training, and the ball comes at you faster and at more awkward angles.. so how the hell is training harder than playing (i assume you mean playing in matches?). it just doesn't make any sense. otherwise please elaborate.

  • @Veneratio10 No what he meant was that when you train you train hard and put as much into it as you possibly can so that when it comes to a real game everything is easier than it would have been if you trained with no effort. Like the saying train hard fight easy.

  • roger is the #1 in the world even if he isn't ranked 1. he invented the TOPspin slice backhand! UNBELIEVABLE!

  • @liedetecter2000 nonsense, how can you get "top spin" with a slice?

  • @huyrich it's an illusion to the opponent. physics-wise i agree with you, but when i say slice topspin i mean roger has found a way to hide a topspin into a slice. first he brings his racquet up over his shoulders which to his opponent loks like he is about to do a slice, but then when roger swings if you look closely his racquet dives from under the ball and brushes upward. all this process looks like a slice, but the outcome is a topspin. UNBELIEVABLE!

  • love the slice on the backhand

  • his hits that are shit are like mine that are great..... TOO PRO!

  • His FH grip is Semi-western, isn´t it?

  • @sharinganchidori52 Its eastern i think :)

  • Is it standard operating procedure at Indian Wells for players to have ballboys for their practice sessions, or is Roger just that big of a pimp?

  • Man I wish I could be this relaxed before a match....

  • Damn, this makes me wanna play tennis!!!

  • my grip is similar to roger's, however, i do not have the same result as him. When i hit the ball with the semi western, the ball flies up.

  • @dannyd0994 i don't think he uses semi-western

  • @MrJurberry take a closer look. he varies between eastern and semi western.

  • @dannyd0994 i can't see it lol

  • Roger needs to get himself a better hitting partner.

  • @federergreatclass He often hit with Stan wawrinka, don't know hitting partner in this video

  • federer is like swinging it effortlessly but his shots are still deadly!

  • Hes not hitting hitting it hard but the ball still moves very fast.

  • Could someone be more casual than this ?!

  • i LIKE Federer from the back

  • He may not be number 1, but I think he's the greatest:)

  • When I buy fruit...

  • WTF. At 0:48 seconds he hits the most casual forehand I've ever seen, and still gets the full pop sound and good speed.

  • @AnimeIntroStyles4 it really makes you wonder.... is it because of his skill or maybe .... his racket is enchanted?

  • @AnimeIntroStyles4 yeah that is pretty impressive. he just has superhuman timing and he doesn't use quite as extreme a grip as a lot of guys, so low balls like that aren't as hard

  • i'm a lefty, but when i want to look at solid ground strokes, i watch this video in a mirror.

  • my stroke are better than his... in my PS3

  • Hitting the ball is easy, hitting fast is easy, making the ball bounce inside the court is easy, aiming is easy. All in the same time is hard as hell but he makes it look sooooo easy too!

  • oh I definitely rated this video :)

  • I hate when people try to compare Roger Federer and Nadal. It's like you are trying to say what's better, Hard work(Nadal) or Pure Talent(Federer). One is not better than the other. When these styles of games collide it equals one very good match. Don't get me wrong, Federer does put in some hard work, but it is because he has soo much talent that he does not need to play as hard as the other pros. Roger is my fav :)

  • @yoyoboy106 Roger is one of the hardest working players on tour. He has tons of raw talent yes, but the reason he is so consistent is that he works hard off-court.

  • The only thing Federer uses warm ups for is just to warm up his stroke because its pretty obvious that Federer doesn't put any effort into practice lol, or at least he doesn't show it.

  • his hitting partner has technique similar to robin soderling

  • 20 people could just die.

  • his racket speed is so damn fast

  • ...he doesn't even try, does he? T_T

  • @Scorpio7500 no he doesnt haha... probs a social hit.... when he plays matches its crazy :) search federer Vs blake court level to see how fast it really is XD

  • What I would give just to have his practice backhand. I try so hard and I can't get close to his effortless strokes

  • feds forehands are so smooth... its not even funny

  • I love how the other guy is obviously very good and yet Fed makes him look like a fool while just warming up.

  • What grip is that? An eastern?

  • @TheNerdStory ya mate

  • true class. love Roger

  • bbbbb

  • he is a king .........!!!!!!!!!\

  • I can't help but smile at how ridiculously effortless his strokes are. Respect.

  • although rafael nadal is the king of tennis

roger federer will always be my king! :P

  • @whatever22ism you mean as of right now....

  • My gawd... his spins are pwnage...

God : Yeah I know he screwed me over on my candy...

  • this man is THE perfect tennis player. it's like someone made the mold just for him and broke it afterwords

  • i feel like roger is really taking the piss out of my tennis lol, the guy effortlesly does backhands and forhands with decent power, while i go all out from start to finish.

  • @Temoorcoresystem Are u using a really light racket?

  • @Kiasko i am using the wilson K blade 98, with babolat addiction strings, its a nice combo for me.

  • god this is beautiful.

  • man... his backhand is more controlled than my forehand...

  • The wrist flourish on that forehand is flawless..

  • I can't believe how easily he can get on top of the ball with his backhand. He just dominates the ball when he grooves a backhand.

  • Cool

  • Thats why is is and will be the bet player of all time!

No one gots he's class, not even Nada..

Hes gonna get his number 1 back, and then Rafa can't get it back from him

  • wow feds really has no topspin!

  • FBY2007 thanks for all the great vids!!!

  • dude..... he makes tennis look so easy

  • god all his shots look so effortless

  • still video

  • those shots come just so effortless ..he just breathes the game...thats close to magic

  • what grips does he use for his forehand and his backhand?

  • best forehand? federer is much better on the backhand.

best forehand on the tour have Söderling! IT's very hard

  • @jackepp2 soderling does not have the best forehand on tour. federer's is much more consistent, versatile and has a greater margin for error. secondly, federer's forehand is one of the best of all time and his backhand is considerably weaker than his forehand and always has been. there is no way that his backhand is better than his forehand - quite the opposite

  • His forehand eastern grip is so low in efficiency compared to rafa nadals forehand with western grip.

Thats why federe cant hit nadals strong topspin.

  • @marianegroable first of all, federer doesn't want to hit with as much topspin as nadal and second of all federer's forehand is more efficient as he does not need to put as much effort into it since it is much flatter. u need to re-check ur definition of efficiency

  • i like the part when he misses!

  • @stompman101 i like it cuz it makes me feel better lol :P

  • He even has incredible shots in practice! :P

  • roger is smoove like butter. he swings that racquet like its his bitch

  • 0:54 is one wicked slice

  • lmao federer is just like w/e

  • Check out the pick up at 0:16.

  • Wow look how casual he is...

  • fuck, all his shots are so fuckin perfect

  • "learn how to play like Roger"

tss tss tsss youre kidding right?

I mean theres limits even for stupidity

    xD

  • He just touches it and it happens...like nothing...amazing skills

  • his hitting partner is so shit

  • I could sit here all day watching him hit, and I wont get bored. Maybe a little hungry though...

  • 49 seconds. That's a pretty loud racket connection for someone who could strike the ball that casually that low.

  • ... it doesn't look like Roger changes his grip at all for that backhand slice....

An Eastern forehand grip backhand slice? O___o

  • Lol

  • Roger Love

  • Roger, move your feet!! LOL!!

  • he doesn't have to. he's got 'em in the federer zone.

  • @gawing21 ROFL!

  • who is the other player?

  • @nubjealvin its really not, its somebody who uses a babolat racquet tho

  • @nubjealvin A noob ^^

  • no im a nub :P
