@purpledogstar Thank you, Paul! As Helina put it to me, the tag is simply to read a favorite poem by another poet. She took it a bit further by tying her theme into tinySpectacle's. In her case her Philip Larkin poem related to certain themes in tinySpectacle's, to my mind, alternate views of things, or misconceptions. I chose to relate mine to her themes of love and death. I have told Poemsapenny each to find whatever inspiration she can from it and leap from there. :)
Oops...I was just lulled into enjoyment of the words etc..of your reading....when I see you tagged me at the end...? Oh ...but what is the tag....? Any poem of choice ? I can be so very dim at times I am afraid...and now that I am hanging upside down from the Earth...and my head so full of blood and all...I am getting worse !
@xyzllii Oh my, yes, I didn't explain that very well. I think the original tag was simply a poem by any poet of your choice. A poem by another poet that you like, if I recall correctly. I liked the fact that Lina's poem related to certain themes in TS's poem, and that my choice linked to other themes. If you can find any thread of inspiration in this reading, go for it. It's entirely open.
Haven't heard this poem before; I like it very much. And the reading works really well with the piano.
Let me disabuse you of the notion that David has been "tagged hard" by me. I only tagged him once, but he is such a big baby whiner, that it might seem like he has been terribly put out. :o)
@tinySpectacle I keep trying to post the link to his tag rant here, but YouTube keeps giving me an error. I don't know why that is. In any case I am tickled to see that some people actually do read the descriptions to these videos. Thanks again!
Thanks so much--one of Spicer's more accessible ones--a terrific poem. Great informal performance, too.

@langstonify Thanks, L! I am glad you enjoyed it. It was fun to do it with BPK's improv music. I have another spicer poem that I am about to upload.
