he has a lot of correct info,but falls down in a lot of of other.first of all the1970 ford (torino cobra) like he said came wth the base 429,which did run in the 15s,but a loaded,cobra jet with,auto ran 14.0,and the 429 super cobra jet,+ super drag pack,wththeir 430 gears,4spd. with a good driver,could crank off mid to low 13s,stock. also the paint color virmillion orange,was the torinos color calapso orange was the mercury version.

qtsuperjet- thanks for the comments.. we do not only highlight "exact original" cars on these segments.. I ,like you, appreciate an original car.. but some of the owners we come across have different tastes. This is however and originla 429 cobra.. he just chaged a few things. (thing is a rocket too!) Nice car but why did they take a modified Cobra for this documentary!!?? This car doesn't have the correct Magnum 500 rims, it doesn't have the correct flat black hood treatment and the motor is fare from looking factory original.... They should have taken an original Cobra or ''restored to factory specs'' car for this interview... The show clealy talks about ''factory original'' stuff.
