But here they failed to report the other side of the story: there is also violence and crime towards the Russian citizens from those migrant workers. Some Russian citizens live under similar conditions as those illegal immigrants. The governments priority should be to improve the citizens life first and then take care of the illegal immigrants.

I don't think the focus of this story was immigrants vs natives. And I am more than certain that their is only a small percentage of immigrants who travel hundred or thousands of miles to another country country just to pray off the native population. Most of what actually happens is that a portion of the native population has ended up abusing the immigrants. I know that might be embarrassing for Russians to admit, but it is true.

There is some misunderstanding going on. Ive never said that immigrants travel to pray off native population. They travel to find a job and earn money. But because of the extreme poverty among them they end up committing more crimes than natives. Clashes between natives and immigrants are initiated from both sides not just from the side of the native population. If you ever lived in Moscow or Paris for example Im sure you would agree with me.

I am not sure about the 50/50 argument you are using. It really does not make sense that any group would come into a country to initiate clashes with the local population. When the majority of the stories coming out about Russia are usually about gangs of native Russian youths assaulting immigrants, there has to be something there.
