@Goatskull I got sideways with a cute girl at church, when I was younger and a trash-talker. She has two pretty sisters, but I never admitted that to them. Instead, I told them that if they wanted to make a website dedicated to themselves, they should call it uglypeople dt cm!!
Furthermore this town is drug infested and 2/3 of it's population is on some form of Government assistance. Leaving only 1/3 of the population to work...and there aren't even enough jobs to support that number. That's why so many people drive to Ft. Irwin 40 miles, Victorville/Applevalley 30 miles, Hesperia 38 miles, or drive down the Cajon pass 60-80 miles away.
Barstow sucks. I'm stuck in this God Forsaken town and am hoping to get a job in a better state or at least a better city. I'd be happy to abandon my home, it would just fit in with the others around me. This video may have some stretched truths to it, but it is definitely not the picture town they have tried to paint. I use to live there. I'm glad I left that drug infested welfare town.
I got family still living there & a couple of them can't even find a full-time minimum wage job.
This video forgot to mention the Marine Corps Logistics base in Yermo.
The High Desert is only good for drugs, criminals, good weather & Del Taco.
