Great montage! I love this movie. Got home from work yesterday, turned on the tv flippen. This movie was just starting on one of the cable movie channels, Guess what? For the next 100 mins. My ass was glued to the couch watching til the end. It takes a very entertaining movie for that to happen! Best buddy/road movie in my opinion. And ive seen it at least 20 times over the years.

This was one of the best movies I saw! It's even funnier to me because I didn't realise that it was a comedy ! De Niro was rarely known for his comedies at that stage in his life & i thought it was fukin great!

omfg i died laughing watching this....the only scene i probably wanted to see that wasn't on here was right before the grodin clip where he accuses deniro of lying first - i absolutely love it, deniro yells "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTT?" he must have had so much fun making this movie. there's gotta be some crazy blooper reel.

The Thing I love about this movie is Every line can be put to Everyday Use. I use the propose line about once a week & you can tweak them to fit your situation like: "Ive got two words for you: Shut-the fuck-up!"- line almost every day & "D" in the Rolodex for "jerk" comes in handy.

I remember when this movie came out like it was yesterday. De Niro was pretty much universally considered the best dramatic actor in the world, and his hilarious performance in this movie surprised and delighted everybody. This was pretty much the first time the world had seen him in a comedic role, and he didn't disappoint. One of the great underrated comedies of all time.

I remember escaping the '88 summer heat to see this 5 times, feeling @ home when the Elfman score kicks in as the camera pans over the Bail Bonds sign & we see DeNiro walking on the sidewalk smoking a cigarette; an early indication of his character. Who knew Grodin and DeNiro would be a perfect comic match?

A favorite movie, with unforgettable characters. Lucifer in Angel Heart, a reformed sinner in The Mission & Capone in The Untouchables; DeNiro followed up w/Jack Walsh. This was his peak.

And even though it's a good film to watch on TV,

I really think it's best watched uncensored. Deniro's use of the F-word is really crucial in depicting his absolute frustration with Grodin's character. I laughed just watchin' DeNiro's face every time Grodin pushes him to the limit.
