As a Ricky boy I wish Penn Place was still there....not because it's beautiful, just because it was where Strawberry Fields record shop was. I spent so much time there all thru my life, ended up working there, hanging out...it was our local way of life. Then they ripped it down and crammed in loads of cluttered flats. Hey, the town's stil a damn sight better than a lot of other places.... @fcmarcus...weird, 'Centre Of The Universe' is a name my mate & I use about Ricky too ! Spoooooky.

@imcalledjon 7.17 is where all those new flats are along Northway, the road that runs from the back of Iceland to station road. I lived there from 1972 for 20 years and I use to go to Tesco and the hairdressers (Louveres) there with my Mum. :oD
