Cashier is the next big job market in America. Soon, you will need a PhD in economics to use one. Well, at least that is one of the degrees you will have as you work as one.

People forget one thing, a heavy portion of state tuition is funded by tax dollars (not just scholarships and grants). When college students work low level jobs, the skills our society invested in are wasted.
I'm a cashier just for a part time job, and it fucking sucks ass! To any teenager looking for a part time job, do not be a cashier, it will make you dread every single day you have a shift because it fucking sucks so bad.
@LhadieCerise because,like me,you will get customers who will come in dressed as if they have a job that requires reading skills and can't read,so they chew you out.Like what happened to me tonight.And not only that but standing on your feet all the time and getting retarded questions like "do you work here?" and you're wearing the SAME thing all the other obvious employees they see everyday are wearing.And in 24 hr stores with a BIG sign saying so people will ask what time you close. -_-'
omg i feel sorry for cashiers that work there cause when i go theres only one cashier and like a ton of people where i work at theres always a mx of 5 cashiers but still long lines grrr!
Why the hell was the lady at the front desk wearing her name tag in the wrong spot? There are circles sewn into her shirt to point out where you're supposed to put the name tag, it isn't rocket science.
2 days...one day was just watching videos and learning stuff about the company...and the other one was at the store, doing the things you're supposed to do with someone watching and helping...then on the third day I was already on my own. :)
@fatalorgasm92 O rly? Mine they had me work up front and doing stock on my fist day. Still yet haven't gotten the video/ quiz training. But so far I like working at CVS. I'm sure I'll probably say the opposite down the line.
Please inform your friend Tina that I think she is quite the eye candy and if all the women in the Fort Lauderdale area resemble her I can't wait to relocate this spring.
