If i can jump in this discussion i think its terrible that they shutdown southport pleasureland and put up some gypo fair now. I used to go to pleasureland when i was a little kid and it was a great laugh i went there a few months back and it just looked rough as a crabs arsehole.
Lol..what do you mean..stole it and stuck abit of water underneath it...southport did nothing at all to make the ride enjoyable appart from have it above concrete..atleast peasure beach as tried to create an atmosphere around the ride
@Ll574sa easy, it was owned by the same company (Pleasure Beach Blackpool)! duh! they put it over water to make it look better where as in fact it is the same ride. Seen as at Southport they said it was the tallest and fastest suspended coaster in the UK, the ride that actually took the title was at Flamingo Land in yorkshire. So they wanted to move it to blackpool to make it special. To do this they had to shut down southport cause it was nothing without the traumatizer, just older rides.
@johnport6 Southport closed due to the lack of profit however PB kept it open to see how it would do and it did not improve so they shut southport down and then moved traumatizer they didnt just close southport because they moved traumatizer
been on it 16 times in 1 day love it i love the cork screw i got one of the passes
