Kevin was the most fun to watch, be it at the trails we had across Bingle Road and Hurst Yamaha in the 70's, to the Pops Yoshimura Superbike days, and especially the GP days. You never knew what to expect from him, other than a great, gutsy show. The sport needs another like him today.
Schwantz was really one of the best, and I regret for past times...I was his biggest fan, and each time smbdy mention GP races, it reminds me to him... even is a big question if he could have win the championship that 1993 if Wayne haven't had such fatal accident in Misano

Yea I was also a huge fan and watched "Bike Hero" to see what he had accomplished before I started to follow the 500cc class. He was one of a kind on his Suzuki! His fights with Rainey and Doohan were fair and a pleasure to watch. I think Rainey was the more "complete" racer but without Schwantz it would have been pretty boring.
Valentino Rossi he is very good....yah theres a big BUT.he always on at least a competitive bike.Or the best.Schwantz never...yah NEVER had the best bike thats a fact. it was awsome to see the honda pass him like he was parked on a not even long straight he had to use up his tires the others did not that simple on the honda he never loses
Even as a Kevin Schwantz fan I have to admit that Rossi is probably even better than Schwantz. You can't say that if a bike has a superior engine it will automatically win all races. Honda is known for their powerful engines (like Ducati). The Yamahas usually have a superior handling but less power. Strangely, this particular difference between these 2 bikes hasn't changed since I started to follow the 500 cc championship in 1990! Rainey and Doohan were probably on Rossi's Level.
could it be...but the boy proved last sunday that he's not so easy to beat.....probably he will never win so much as Rossi...but i love the fact he(Stoner) beats him
yeah it was.....but the races last year were amazing...continious overtaking Rossi, Capirossi...Pedrosa.....and this year's unvisible Hayden......let's hope Moto gp will give us the same great feelings as last year did...
You cant compare Stoner with Schwantz!He`a a miserable little bastard!Rossi,Sheene,Schwantz et al had-have charisma!Something Stoner is missing big style!I really hope he never wins another GP!!

I think Schwantz was just not consistent enough. But he had a lot of awesome victories! He was very determined.
