Great video! Very impressive. ReoCoker10, you're wrong on two accounts. First, you may move after receiving the ball. Rugby/Aussie style is becoming more popular and college teams have changed formations to have multiple gunners on the line of scrimmage spread out, few down lineman and three support blockers for the kicker to move. It's a dual threat in that the kicker can take off or kick. Also, you can dropkick for goal in American football, it's just uncommon because of the ball's edges.

yeah there is. usually 3 steps with guys rushing you. and you have to know how to hit and how to deal with being hit. you only have like a 1.5 sec once you get the ball in your hands. i'm a K/P
nice leg, r there any rules on how u have to punt an nfl ball?...coz im thinking of tryin a career out of it. Im 15 and can kick a drop punt 50 metres 53 with a torp
yo ur nasty ... u prolly wont believe me but i can kick a 50 yard field goal and im only 14 .. i played varsity for my highschool as a punter and a kicker.. i jus kick the ball .. i saw how u kicked and u made the ball spiral dat was sick i think if i learned that i can be wayyyy better .. im gnna get a video too im gnna put it online
WTF are u people talking about????? every one of your punts WILL get blocked and ur kicking 50 yard kickoffs not field goals u dont get to take ur time n run up to the ball and 50 yards isnt long for a kickoff n decent kicker shits on 50 sorry
oh here's some advice, it u play a year of football and u dont make it to da nfl use your highlights and these highlights and send them to the afl go to one of there combines u''ll be in for sure but good luck ur very good
You have more potential than you probably think. Are you signed to any D1 college programs? Is this something you are looking to pursue in the future... If so, you should definitely let me know because i have contacts all around America that i will be more than happy to help you out with.
how many metres you kicking? Try and get in contract with Sav Rocca or Ben Graham. Ring the Geelong and Kangaroos football club.. they could prob help u
an american football punter is different than an aussie rugby player.
For instance, you have bounce the ball off the ground at the same time you're kicking.....look at any Johnny Wilkinson kicks (on youtube)....arguably one of the best flyhalfs ever....Rugby is just different in that there is more to rugby than kicking...I'm not knocking your ability, but can you run, tackle, pass, know the game in general?....just something to think about
As far as a football punter/kicker...great placement...super impressive...you're release doesn't seem to be too long either (i know you didn't have guys trying to block you in this though)...which do you prefer, place kicking or punting? not saying you have to choose one or the other but you should try to focus on one and go after it...
