They did not use Ma in their kalpana swaram, I think you confused with the begining swaram "da pa pa ga ri", the second pa might be confusing you as Ma, They are Legends, i don't think they do this silly mistak,

These two are a hope for the dried up bastion of carnatic music in AP.Hope some others will take interest in classical music,taking these two as the inspiration.

There is no ma in malaya marutham raga, simply they r using in kalpanaswaram.
