  • I developed a similar weapon style in my head for a book and I'm glad to come across this to see now that my weapons would actually work in their setting. I wanted to get away from firearms and bows completely and wondered what weapons would be like in a world where force flex tension is possible with certain fictional materials.

  • @WritingFighter The same world is extremely hot and dry so I'm also glad to see that cold temperatures would not be hampering with such things if they really existed.

  • The cold weather must really hamper the slingshot hobby.

  • Can you please make a how to do on the slingshot blaster. It is cool!

  • a slingshot blaster rifle would be pretty cool. kwl vids keep em coming im learning more and more from you vids and am currently making a slingshot rifle and i think without you vids i wouldnt have had a clue what to do so thanks

  • fpsgermany

  • Make a how to of the blaster it's great

  • You ever thought about going hunting with one of your inventions? Maybe shooting some duck? :P

  • If it is 9 below (Celsius, I assume) than how are you out there without a jacket?

  • @05you2 Because we are no pussies here at The Slingshot Channel! :)

  • you should curve the top of the slingshot for safety

  • 1.55 and your wearing short sleved top????

  • I love the slingshot rifle. It would be SO illegal here in Australia unfortunately. Such a pity as it could be great harmless fun.

  • I would like to see more about "Sling Blaster"..... please :)

  • @Posoloaca me too

  • OMG!!! what if zombies attack during winter?!

  • @torned00kaz Not to worry. Zombies have no blood circulation and will freeze in place until they thaw in spring.

  • for the sling blaster you could use a stronger type of rubber to make it more powerful

  • Moin Jörg, wird es für dieses Gewehr auch so eine schöne detaillierte Bastelanleitung mit "Schnittmuster" geben?

  • i tried to make one of these but it didn't work (stickshot)

  • Giorge hello can you tell me what is the best material to make a slingshot? (wooden)

thanks, I see you always:))))) and congratulations for the channel! is very very interesting!!!!!!!!!!!!!! greetings from italy!

  • Hi joerg! I'm Nick and i am 12 years old and I make slingshots. I have seem all of your videos and have tried making slingshots similar to the ones you make. I haven't uploaded any videos yet, but will today. Since learning from you, i always use theraband, and have some theraband black on the way. The most important thing is how to attatch bands to the fork. Please subscribe to me! My channel is at nick14soccer. Please subscribe!

  • there are 15 fahrenheit and you're wearing a t-shirt? wow...

  • That's the first time I saw bands crinkle like that.

  • how much is multiplex ?

  • @MrSup2121 dude dont be dog, btw i just saw this video, my subscriptions are dodgy

  • love it :D i especially love the "Slingshot Blaster" ^_^

  • holy that rubber i freezing.

and the mini slingshot gun is very cool, can you make a tutorial?

  • thats soo cool...the blaster would look AWSOME if it had a longer barrle

  • I like the slingshot blaster alot, you could possibly rig one up with rollers on the end and a longer band, or by placing additional bands on the top and bottom. Also if you decrease some of the bulk of the piece that holds the ball, you could get a tiny bit of a longer pull. You might even want to modify the handle to push balls up into the device. Very nice work though! Thank you for posting these videos I am really becoming a fan

  • ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR CHANNEL !!!

  • Please make a how to of the mini crossbow at the end of the vid

  • Join us next week when JoergSprave will be making a "SlingShot Gatling Gun" lol

  • Great Work Joerg, you really do have some awesome ideas, i think they are really great and highly original.

Thanks for sharing these awesome videos.

    Mike.

  • Nice Cool

  • How is the precision for the stickshot crossbow? Does the "wrist" simulation makes the projectile to have downwards trajectory?

  • nice job dude

  • cool stuff as always

  • Do you work out a lot? How much weights do you carry? You make it looks so easy!

  • @14873 I don't work out as often as I want (the job and the slingshot hobby consume most of my time), but I have been lifting weights all my life pretty much, and I am fairly strong. I weigh about 120 kg, but I can still do chin-ups and dips.

  • I wonder if you could make a sling blaster by modifying one of those applicator guns for silicone and stuff?

  • im from México, since i was 5 i love the slingshots, and you Mr. Joerg are what we call "el más chingón!!" which means.. the best of the best

  • @Joergsprave -9 degrees Fahrenheit's another story. I think that's like -22 degrees Celsius. I live near Canada, so I'm used to cold weather too.

  • Genius!!

  • you are a genius! now that you figured out the 'stickshot' why not a glove with you fingers as the stick?

  • you are just always cool

  • you never cease to amaze me.

  • Great Idea's there mate! it's 42c here at the moment in Central Victoria,I bet those rubbers would work better here, Thank's for cooling me Down, Joerg,

  • Awesome!

  • as always amazing ideas and an amazing video!

  • Usual high quality video. Thank you.

  • You're a slingshot genius. What's next? A humongous, rubber-powered trebuchet?

  • @jwwm2 No, that will happen this summer. Stay tuned.

  • @jwwm2 Joerg is gonna build a big enough set of bands and pouch, and travel to the US for free :)

    One love!

    White Wolf

  • Joe is awsome, you should come to that states and sell your stuff, would be great to see you at Canterbury's Gathering

  • Will there be a rifle version of the blaster?.

    Outstanding work again.

    Nice one Joerg.

  • I really appreciate the work you do to make your videos so enjoyable, you have three items in one 3 minute video plus a slow motion shot. wich most other video makers were so thoughtful of viewers time.

  • Cool slingshot rifle. I think I saw one on the Flintstones once. lol Looking forward to the double-barreled version.

  • i just come for the "bye bye"

  • @hondannyboy it only like 15 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • @TheDrummerkid770 Sure, cozy and warm, I was almost wearing my tank top shirt and shorts.

  • Damn at -9 I would be wearing like 4 jackets at the same time.

  • Have you thought about doing accuracy tests with these rifle-type slingshots? Clamp the Stickshot/X-bow down onto a type of bench rest and fire multiple times to see the pattern grouping size at various ranges...

  • TUTORIAL FOR THE THE STICK!

  • another question...did you ever made a crappy SLINGSHOT seriously because they're all great ;D;D

  • @sittttam Yes, I had my failures. How else can you learn?

  • @JoergSprave ja vermutlich :D war mehr ironisch gemeint ^^ danke trozdem für die antwort und btw mal wieder ein tolles video ;)

  • Check your Personal Messages Box please

  • have you ever made a crappy video seriously becuase they're all great

  • Cool innovative Idea although I prefer the old Slingshot-X-Bow ammo release mechanism than the new one made for Stickshot X Bow also the Slingshot blaster cocking when you cock it you need to pull the string what if you need it to make it strong rubber setting it might difficult to pull I suggest a lever action like the one use to make a Chinese repeating crossbow

  • @MrChaosHeadz The "new" release is just very quick to make, it took me 90 minutes to make the entire crossbow. Also it is more narrow, the pinch method is simply wider. For a compact two shot version, a narrow release is great. Yes, loading i more complex, a sliding release or fork is better. But remember 90 minutes to make!

  • Woah, wearing a t-shirt in -9 temperature. Brr...

  • @OssastoriumDoDs Yes, we are no pussies here at the Slingshot Channel.

  • AWESOME , bullpup version any one :D

  • I like your new Shirt :)

  • i am thinking of makeing a nine tails slingshot,it is almost similar to your gatling gun slingshot(wich i find extremely beastly) only instead of being somewhat like a rovolver the bands are on top of each other one by one in a linit of 9 ^-^

  • great video, lts of snow here in pennsylvania

  • Still snow in Germany!?

  • @markgangsta2 in some places, last year there was snow till mid march

  • Could do with a close up of the catch. Another great vid.

  • enjoyed *****

  • How about a holster for the slingshot blaster? Cowboy hat is optional.

  • -9 and you're out in a T-shirt? You sir are a beast.

  • Great vid, by the way!!!!

  • Did you find out how many joules it produces and how fast it shoots?

  • what rubber will you use for your summer project

  • what the best sling shot you ever made?

  • Will you marketing the sling blaster? I can see some people buying one as a plinker.

  • @MrBudwv he said that he will never sell his slingshots. he loves the hobby and he wants to keep it a hobby and the last thing he wants is some sue-happy jerk and a lawyer after him. i dont blame him! :p

  • @revoltkid123 Yeah, You got a point. Its' a shame that the lawyers have ruined things for the honest world at large. Still its' a great design for people with commen sense.

  • have you thought of making a pistol (about the size of the Ruber slingshot you made)

more powerful by adding rollers so the bands go backwards under the and over the ring at the end?

  • you're getting better at these names joerg :)

  • Great!

So, that makes me wonder if you could get even more power by replacing that "J" flipper with a roller to make the rubber double back under the wood, and perhaps go all the way back to near the trigger?

  • Great video. Your creativity amaze me every time I watch your channel. By the way, if it is minus 9 outside, how the hell you are standing over there only in a single t-shirt???

  • the last word I expected was little...

  • Coolio

  • It seems that having a fair amount of deadplay is unavoidable with the stick shot/rifle design.

  • give the third one a cool looking body and it will be badass

  • Another great video!!!

    Thank you Joerg

  • Sup
