German Village

I grew up in German Village in the fifties and sixties, attended Beck Street Elementary School, and I felt even then that the area had potential. I knew it was a sin that those brick houses were painted. I hated to see those houses torn down to make way for I-70. I have a memory of every street in the "south end". Thank you to anyone who renovates one of those houses.
