I also see the confrontation between Horus and the Emperor. But there are just as many Marines here whose chapters I do not recognize... one group has fancy golden armor and another has white armor, almost looking like Clone Troopers. And I see no members of the Deathwatch here, either...

Deathwatch isnt a chapter (as far as im aware) its a group of the best of the best guys chosen from other chapters to make THE best fighting strike teams once missions are complete they return to their chapters

@Blackivar Ah, yes... the White Scars. The Marines who carry on the name of Primarch Jagatai Khan's old Legion. That particular chapter which gathers periodically, reviews the list of enemies they haven't put in the dead book yet, and renews their vows to hunt them down and dispatch them to the grave. The Black Templars have a similar ritual, I think...

Emperor's Knights? That's a new one on me. I was guessing they might be high-ranking Imperial Fists, since the I-Fists wear golden armor...

If all the armies of the Imperium can be thought of as a gargantuan spear and the Adeptus Astartes are the cutting edge of the spearhead, then the Deathwatch are the tip where the two edges meet. It is usually thanks to their efforts that the chapters know where to go and what to do.

Palpatine, a.k.a. Darth Sidious was purely in it for rulership of the galaxy and beyond.

The Emperor of Warhamer 40,000 was in it with a mission: to unify humankind and the Imperium of Man and consolidate our rightful place in the stars. The traitorous Horus was more like Sidious than the Emperor could ever be when he decided to turn upon his rightful lord. There is a word for that: TREASON.

@dinocha0s Well it isn't all honour and valour alot of SMs are assholes. Only the SM heroes and captains etc have the whole honour thing. Hell some are perfectly willing to send guardsmen ahead of the SM forces to soak up enemy fire. But most are the noble defender types.

naw, the Deathwing are the 1st comapny of the Dark Angels chapter, and the elite terminator force of the Dark Angels. the Death Company are a company of the Blood Angles and are called the Death Company because in battle they are totaly overcome by bloodlust and after they finish off the enemy they turn on each other. Any marine who kills until he is done in Death Company and actually becomes sane again instantly jumps like a zillion ranks in the Blood Angel chapter.
