A butterfly only lives to about 15 days in adult hood. They are very delegate and sensitive to pollution and weather conditions. Thank You for sharing .
I found a beautiful butterfly on the ground today, poor thing was flapping it's wings but unable to fly. I googled "how to help a butterfly" & came up with only 1 hit that read "I should put it in a box with a plant & water." I did that & included a little organic soil & sacrificed a flower which I pulled from the garden bush. I don't expect it live but I just couldn't leave it exposed to the ants & elements. I guess you think I'm bonkers, maybe I am, but I hope it lives & flies away.
