if you're gonna be improvising over something, you should try to stay with the same genre as the music being played. you started going off more of a funk feel. you should have tried to stay on more of a rock feel (straight 8th notes and 16th notes). also, you should try to stay in the same scale of the song. you were playing alot of notes that sounded off and made it sound muddy

@hydr0p0tamus Yeah this was VERY sloppy, im aware. :p And i was just pretty much messing around to see how it came out. It wasnt terrible but definately not my best playing at all, and the tone was crappy. Ha.

learn to play in scales and stuff. your just jamming on random notes and your not sounding to good. also, work on your pop technique, although it doesn't fit this style of music. stop trying to show off when your garbage is the best i can put it.
