Go online and look for a ripping program, if you use Vegas go in and rip from there by going import and selecting dvd camcorder disc with the disc in your computers drive.

When kinkmomo asked you how to get the movies from the disk to the computer you answered. :) I read it and did as you said but all the f*cking programs gets it out in really low quality or doesnt work at all. :/ Please explain to me how you do it. BTW i also got my CanonDC320 for christmas :) I am sorry for my bad english.

3 ways 1. You Can do it in VLC 2. You Can use a ripper program (many cheap and free options are available) 3. A majority of video editing programs can rip info off the disk into MP4AVI format and save it for a short time I don't think WMM can do it but Vegas Wax and Imovie can to the best of my knowledge.

If you had to get a miniDVD camcorder, I suppose that a Canon was your best choice. Sony miniDVD cameras = FAIL.

I had one for a while, it only imported to my PC (my MacBook didn't like it), and no matter how much I deinterlaced it, there were still lines all over.

Now I have a Canon HV20. Awesome camcorder, records to miniDVs in real HD (not the BS fake HD that some cameras promise).

But annnnyways, enjoy the camera.
