i didn't see neely loss, i seen neely landing the best of the punches, seen featherstone throw a sucker punch at neely in frustration. to this day featherstone will tell thats why he did it. he plays in some of the bruins legends games meet him a few times he is actually a nice guy but glen got the loss

@hal4sure, yeah I bumped into him (not literally) at the Fours in Boston after a B's game a couple years back and I couldn't figure out who he was. I was at the end of the bar where a number of ex Bruins were standing around with their trophy ho's and I kept thinking to myself; "who is this guy with the ginormous hands?" I' m not huge like Featherstone, but at 6'0" 210lb with big hands myself, I couldn't help but notice the size of his mitts. Ended up talking to him and he was very gracious.

Actually Featherstone was fairly tough when he was young. His first loss was to Randy McKay. He had draws against Kocur, Dave Brown and Mick Vukota, and he beat Peluso multiple times, Jeff Odgers, and Basil McCrae once before losing in their rematch. He turned into a punching bag during the 93-94 season, which is why Boston got rid of him. It was rumored he had a little problem with the bottle, as many NHL fighters have had.

@47tooter I'm not saying Glen was a bad kid...just that he had a lot of injuries when he was young, and when young kids have a lot of money, and a lot of free time on their hands, they usually go out and party too much.
