  • Taste in music may be influenced by the age but god, it's not the major, most important nor INTERESTING piece of info. So stop writing how old you are, please. Everybody knows that our/this generation listens to a lot of stuff, both bad and good. This is the good. The Very Good :) So enjoy thoroughly.

  • @holdurhorses23 And I'm Brad Pitt

  • @david0452 Actually, my mom was living in New York City at the time, and they went out on a few dates. It's not like they live on another planet, it IS possible for regular people to meet them.

  • Benjamin...

  • Where did you go Joe Dimaggio???? Garfunkel's voice is fantastic!

  • Otkidam na ovaj film, jedan je od retkih koje će teško prevazići današnji, a verujem i budući Hollywood! The graduate forever...

  • Bullshit.

  • the 140 who disliked this music video don't believe in the lord, jesus christ

  • @petzlju i liked it and i dont believe

  • I listened to this when I was a kid, grown up now listen to goth-industrial. It's comforting to go back in time and listen to a song like this. Modern music is not horrible. It's different. I like lady gaga and black eyed peas as well. Life would be boring if we listened to the same music over and over for years to come. I'm 38 yrs. Music is ever changing and ever so wonderful to hear.

  • Also, "gaga" in my name is no relation to lady gaga. I agree that modern music is horrible compared to these classics.

  • Actually, it's a common misconception that evolution always makes something better. If, for example, we humans slowly became cimpanzees over the next few thousand years, that would still be evolution.

  • @654gaga It's just an assumption that if we became apes, those of us who did become apes would die because apes aren't nearly as productive as humans in our definitions.

  • To the genius who told me "music evolves, get over it" an evolution would imply music turned into something BETTER.. Are you fucking saying that today's pop music (more specifically Gaga's pop music) is better than this song?? If that's what you're saying indeed, then let me reiterate my original reaction : /FACEPALM

  • Genius!

  • listening to this during english. my headphones all the way up. LOL just remembered people can hear! :0 embarrasing

  • @Eminemfan1542 Screw people! Lose yourself to every single favorite song, enjoy yourself! :D

  • 2:14 Koekchoekechoo?

  • @OfficialDjPaul What? never listen to the beatles? lol

  • ok im going to be the one to say if your into this music, then your taste in music is good. this is just an opinion and a very ignorant comment i admit. but if this is considered pop music of there time then maybe the people who considered themselves to have a good taste in music considered this stuff garbage. maybe there the jonas brothers of the time idk. im probably gunna get aton of hate for this comment but idc. peacee.

  • @Bubblewrap34 I can't even make up what you're talking about. So i don't hate :)

  • and here's to you the ones who disliked

jesus doesn't love you like you know

    no no no

  • Back in the 60s and 70s, THIS was considered POP music... Nowadays, a horse dressed up in alluminium singing about poker faces is considered pop music.

    /facepalm.

  • @JediMasterZao haha yeah the standard has sure gone down

  • @JediMasterZao /pokerface

    (+1)

  • Comment removed

  • @JediMasterZao coulnd uv said it better myself

  • @JediMasterZao omg i love you

  • @JediMasterZao The music back then was full of monotonous garbage too. In fact since the 50s things sound the same rather very frequent. What we hear from the past today is a selection of the best of each era. The 2000s will have a best of album that will be in average just as good as any other era that has passed. I have even heard people praising the 90s as great, and lets be honest!...

    ...they wernt great.

  • @iamatumor I agree. Every era has its best songs that will be considered great by future generations. I just hope that my kinds will never know about crap like bieber or rebecca black.

  • @iamatumor Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Tupac, Notorious BIG, Tool, Mudhoney, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alanis, (Green Day), dot dot dot.

  • @SoWachuWan forgetting Pearl Jam...

  • @iamatumor I seriously doubt that the best of what the last decade has to offer will even compare to the best of the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and yes, even the 90s. I mean the 90s did have bands like Nirvana and Green Day, right? Like 'em or not, they're gonna leave a greater impression in music history than any band that has come after them thus far.

  • @iamatumor

Not all songs back then sounded monotonous, (its called the chorus of the song) The songs told a story most of the time! That monotonism is what made the song catchy! (so if you are doing somthing and you feel blue, all of the sudden you start to sing the chorus, you feel better!

  • @JediMasterZao i get the irony but damn how does it happen that we 20-30years old love that music? I like to think it's about its pureness simplicity and hidden soul.. sadly it's not.. it's just that commerc whasn't that developed as it is now.. I wish I was wrong

  • @MrFifthdimension I wish radio stations would start playing songs as good as this, not some crappy person talking fast on autotune.

  • i didnt notice the Joe Dimaggio part lol

  • Simon, Garfunkel, and the dislike bar are all ninjas. *where'd he go?*

  • @4evil2me The Graduate...

  • This song is so GOOD! The only thing I didn't like is the religious part, but I can get over it.

  • @4evil2me garfunkel's jewish...

  • I feel so happy when i listen to this...

  • is this originally by simon and G or was it the beatles?

  • @micfiends It was Simon and Garfunkel.

  • Hey guys n girls checkout my first cover it will only take 2.31 mins of your life : )

  • bella bella bella!!!

  • i love this song not only because its well AMAZING but my real name is Robinson which i think is pretty cool!!! <3 and my brothers name is Simon which is also weird !!!

  • just good music

  • Garfunkle looks exactly like Neil Patrick Harris

  • @Hategrin Hahaha :D Mind=blown :O

  • @Hategrin Neil Patrick Harris looks like Garfunkel...

  • and here's to you mrs robinson, jesus loves you more then you will know, oh oh oh.

  • so what?

  • the problem with marrying american women, is that you are never the first one who fucks her

  • paul simon is all like, "sup."

  • Comment removed

  • thumbs if you think that Simon and Garfunkel (in this image) are Ros Geller and Barney Stinson when they where young.

  • @cocopalooza lol

  • Great driving song, really good song this.

  • Joe Dimagio gets referenced in so many songs.. what a bad ass motherfucker he must have been

  • Are you saying that Justin Bieber couldn't sing this song ( Mrs. Robinson )?

  • @GirlFromIpanema1966 HE WOULD MURDER IT

  • @rocketboy375 Shortly thereafter, we would murder him!

  • @CrawdaddyJoe definitely!

  • @GirlFromIpanema1966 This is Simon & Garfunkel's song, Don't mention that fecking gayboy on here again!!!!! I'm sick of you stupid twits mentioning that fecking gay lord on decent song comments!!!!!! Go back to your stupid fairy world...

  • @Eagle1ZX innit

  • i LOVE YOU IS MUSIC

  • i LOVE IS MUSIC.

  • Perfect song

  • I want to hear Justin Bieber sing this song ( Mrs. Robinson ).

  • @GirlFromIpanema1966 Blasphemy! That is all I can say to that.

  • @GirlFromIpanema1966 WHY?! O_o

  • @GirlFromIpanema1966 I admit, people bag on Bieber too much (though he stole my signature red hat on new years eve), he's good for what he is and he has too many haters, but he would butcher this song. his voice simply wouldn't match.. and it'd be pop.. which is a disgrace to this type of music cause its already pop.. just older pop. (Classic nowadays though) and by the way, I love your username lol, we play that song in Jazz band.

  • Still good!

  • Love this one, as much as i do America from them. Thanks to Almost Famous for introducing me to that number.

  • Great song. lol I swear I thought this was the Beatles for the longest time... :P

  • Are you trying to seduce me?

  • Top Gear brought me here

  • I love this song,it's probably my favorite by them.I love every single thing about this song, overall it's just perfect.

  • C'est pas la même version que celle de Garnier et Sentou! ^^

  • Joe Dimaggio threatened to sue Paul Simon for using his name in the song. Joe wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed. He asked Paul something to the effect: 'What do you mean, where have you gone? I'm still here'. Paul had to explain that he used his name allegorically, representing the loss of heroes, hopes and dreams. No doubt Joe didn't know what allegorical meant.

  • @bailinnumberguy

Maybe Joe was too busy being a yankee legend and fucking marilyn monroe and enlisting in the army and having his relatives blackmailed by the government and hitting safely in 56 straight games and just being an all around bad mother fucker to give a fucking shit about what an allegory is...

  • @MuchoKiller but he found time to complain about the use of his name in a song.

  • @bailinnumberguy It's okay. I'd give up my knowledge of "allegorical" if I could hit in 56 straight games.

  • dont hate me but i thought this was the beatles when i heard it on the radio and looked it up later here...

  • @tim154154 It does sound like them :)

  • @StephenLynas1 Go for it.. older women have experience and knowledge! Some could make you blast off in ways a young girl never could.

  • Simon and Garfunkels lyrics in their songs are so deep...

  • "Oh yeah Mrs. Robinson, you're trying to seduce me".

  • american pie

  • Silly Youtube, they put a thumbs down button on this video

  • @ihateme124 lame

  • @ihateme124 right, and sillier are the ones who use the thumbs down button!

  • @ihateme124 It would be silly to not put a dislike button on, as people wouldn't be able to show their opinion if they didn't like this song. Also it would make the like bar mean nothing for example 14000 likes to 100 dislikes good. but 14000 likes and no chance to dislike could mean its a bad video that alot of people dislike but didn't get the chance to show their opinion.

  • @twin304 you are what we call "anal"

  • 131 people dont know Mrs. Robinson

  • I love it

  • Guess what I sing in the shower

  • @judezoso311 Ehm.. just a guess eh ?? "Tom Jones'" ; MAMMA TOLD ME NOT TO COME....LOL

  • Ive smoked pot to this song, with a Misses Robinson lol

  • say no more CLASSIC ! u cant beat s & g beaut voices!

  • FOREST GUMP !!!

  • I want to have my moustache grown!had to say sth less dumb than your comments...

  • Heaven holds a place for those who pray...<3

  • I'm in the wrong generation of music :(

  • God bless you please, Mrs. Robinson.....

  • What a classic line. It really seems to define a largely forgotten element of those times of cahnge - those who longed not for change and revolution, but for things to hold steady and return to how they had been.

  • Paul Simon so moody and Art Garfunkel so precise! a miracle must have put these two together! TIMELESS! stezyrezy

  • American music is awesome, says this foreigner

  • There's still great music out there, you just have to look for it.

  • the graduate :)

  • I really love this song and Simon and garfunkel in general.

Many people have commented about how music nowadays has no soul. For anyone who is really nostalgic for this type of sound I HIGHLY recommend listening to either Fitz and the tantrums or the cults. Don't want to sound like a hipster but more often than not mainstream radio promotes really crappy music.
