Simon giving standing ovations became a joke on the X Factor when he always gave one to Danyl Johnson everytime he performed, and he was the only judge standing too. But stiil, on Idol was Adam the only who got one?
Adam had an outstanding performance with this song......but, Simon has to point out that he is giving a standing ovation (usually, one just gives the ovation). Simon likes to think he can sway people, but he can't.
I think Kris won because whether or not adam Lambert won or lost, he would still have a carreer after this show. He lost, he still has a great carreer, and so does Kris. Thanks to this show.

Professional opera singers & critics happen to think that Adam Lambert is an incredible virtuoso and extremely versatile.
When the world's most famous judge says Kris's performance was forgettable and then gives a standing ovation to Adam's performance, it's quite clear who was the best person was and who should have won the competition. Fox just hates gay people plain and simple.

When you're dealing with millions of dollars, anything goes not just votes. I guess sexuality won't have anything to do with it in that case, but it's still possible, people in charge of Fox are known to be conservative...

@JRskatr If you went to the AI season tour, there was no doubt as to who the favorite and real winner was that year. The producers decide the winners based on beats me. Adam Lambert, Chris Daughtry, and now James Durbin are proof of that. As long as we are the ones spending the money, what they do doesn't really matter. Ultimately we are the ones playing their music, buying their stuff, so guys rock on. WE LOVE YOU, and by the way Adam can move better than anyone. So sexy, to all.

@www00800www That's maybe possible, but Clay Aiken lost to Ruben Studdard, and he was white and Ruben was black. I would guess that America woulda voted more for Clay as he was the better singer and was white, but maybe Fox blocked that because he was gay? I'm just saying it's possible.

If you re-check what happened it was A.T.& T. that did it by fixing the vote for Kris as anyone from his home state that voted for Kris it counted as ten instead of one plus they even gave out phones for Kris's voters. AT&t Even Admitted they did this and no-one did anything about it. Later it was anounced that after adjusting Kris's 10 for 1 illegal votes that Adam won by over 15 million votes but Fox could do nothing about it as AT&Tsponcers it.

An amazing talent but totally derailed his career. This man should have been the next Elvis in popularity. The new king of pop. Not that it should matter at all that he is gay, but hitting your audience over the head raw, gay sexuality and over the top lewdness just subtracted his audience to a small percentage of what could have been. Image really does matter. I hope he gets it back because I am still in awe of his vocals.

When you're dealing with millions of dollars, anything goes not just votes. If the people in charge of the record deals thinks Kris Allen will sell more records, they'll make sure that he wins, period. I guess sexuality won't have anything to do with it in that case, but it's still possible, people in charge of Fox are known to be conservative...

@JRskatr If you went to the AI season tour, there was no doubt as to who the favorite and real winner was that year. The producers decide the winners based on beats me. Adam Lambert, Chris Daughtry, and now James Durbin are proof of that. As long as we are the ones spending the money, what they do doesn't really matter. If you re-check what happened it was A.T.& T. that did it by fixing the vote for Kris as anyone from his home state that voted for Kris it counted as ten instead of one plus they even gave out phones for Kris's voters. AT&t Even Admitted they did this and no-one did anything about it. Later it was anounced that after adjusting Kris's 10 for 1 illegal votes that Adam won by over 15 million votes but Fox could do nothing about it as AT&Tsponcers it.

An amazing talent but totally derailed his career. This man should have been the next Elvis in popularity. The new king of pop. Not that it should matter at all that he is gay, but hitting your audience over the head raw, gay sexuality and over the top lewdness just subtracted his audience to a small percentage of what could have been. Image really does matter. I hope he gets it back because I am still in awe of his vocals.
