Turbo left a bad taste in my mouth as a kid. The movie was not that terrible, but the show was horrendous. Thank Christ that Space came along to save the day after this disaster.

It really should have been Tanya in this scene. This happening with her would have been plausible. But not with Kat. Why, you might ask? Because Kat was established to possess Olympics-worthy diving skills. She should have been able to handle this.
@ZeldaTheSwordsman I kind of agree with you but really divers know the water they are diving into. 1 that is a raging river below her. 2 she doesn't know how deep the water is and 3. even divers get scared jumping into a pool sometimes so jumping into unknown water after having being scared to death that a snake was going to kill you is going to throw you off a little. Only reason Tommy dove is because you know saban wants us to know he is supposed to be this big badass.

Apparently, they were going to have this scene in the movie in which the Zeo powers were destroyed but they edited it out for time according to Johnny Yong Bosch (Adam). Instead, they claimed that the Turbo powers were "faster" and "more powerful". They also needed them to power the Ghost Galleon and to get them through the Nemesis Triangle to save Jason and Kim on Myranthius.

And now I've noticed she falls through the waterfall twice. At 0:16, she is morphing and the waterfalls rolls right behind her. Then at 0:19 she is still falling and her morphing has just started, but she falls down the waterfall again.
Damn, this scene is full of mistakes and edition gags.
And I just noticed this: when the morpher gets stuck in the branch, its bracelet is "open", but when Kat gets it while falling, it is "closed" (the velcros are stuck).
And correct me if I'm wrong, but when she morphs, isn't the morphers swtiched? 'Cause the falling morpher is the one from right hand. Then at 0:16 it seems like she had it placed on the OTHER wrist (left)... I'm not sure, but I believe it is another mistake =P

Anybody else besides me notice that when she morphs, her suit comes from the head down, yet when in the regular Zeo season, it starts from the feet up? If that were the case, wouldn't she have barely morphed completely before her head hit the water, thus a complete morph?
@Suik1324 it does, but I think the beauty of this secen is it shows realistic in the zeo series and it did not deny that they already had powers. us in america have been done wrong when it comes to Power Rangers/Super Sentai series. The Japaneses, Super Sentai were aim more toward adults, but here in america Power Rangers were dubb to childish. I think if it was more adult theme to it. Power Rangers will be more stronger and popular here in US.
@Batman8127 No,Sentai is mostly aimed at children. Japan just has different broadcasting standards so fights get more brutal. Remember the Tengas vs the Cogs got quite brutal.
A lot of Power Rangers series have been darker than the Sentai version too. It's just that most people have probably only seen Mighty Morphin.
funny thing is, this was someone what (if you dont count the whole red rangers fighting on the moon thing) the last time we actually saw zeos in action-ish. tho i do wish they had zeo in fight in this movie, and make more of a reason to make the turbo power (like, show that zeo wasnt going to be strong enough)

I dunno. It's weird how morph scenes work in power rangers. Remember in the MMPR Season 3 where the teens are at the lake or something like that. They are in the middle of the lake in a boat and the tengas appear on shore and they dive in the water and when all the people vanish, they pop out of the water in their ninja ranger suits? Weird but cool!
What I don't understand is, why would Kat morph when she was falling? How could that possibly save her in any way, shape, or form? I really like this, only because at least they mentioned the Zeo powers in the movie, and the shot is awesome, but it just never made sense to me. I didn't see Tommy morphing when he jumped in after her.
well, keep in mind that when they morph, they have more protection....she probably thought she would get hurt during the fall....which she apparently did. i have no clue as to why tommy jumped in like that.
I was thinking the exact same thing when I first saw this movie. Unfortunately, the focus of the movie was getting new powers and battling Divatox and her fiancee, so the Zeo powers were abandoned, almost as if they never had them at all. I know it sucked that Zeo powers didn't get a better sendoff, but what can you do? :(
At a convention, Johnny Yong Bosch said that in an early draft of the script, the Zeo Powers were used. They were destroyed, however, in what sounded like a pretty epic scene, hence why they were given the Turbo powers.
If that's true, then I would have preferred that to this scenario. It's just wrong the way the Zeo powers got the shaft. I was expecting more than just this brief clip. What a shame.
Yeah, apparantly it was totally epic. There was a fight which ended up in the suits and helmets being torn from their bodies, leaving the suits severely damaged.

Anybody else besides me notice that when she morphs, her suit comes from the head down, yet when in the regular Zeo season, it starts from the feet up? If that were the case, wouldn't she have barely morphed completely before her head hit the water, thus a complete morph?

@Suik1324 it does, but I think the beauty of this secen is it shows realistic in the zeo series and it did not deny that they already had powers. us in america have been done wrong when it comes to Power Rangers/Super Sentai series. The Japaneses, Super Sentai were aim more toward adults, but here in america Power Rangers were dubb to childish. I think if it was more adult theme to it. Power Rangers will be more stronger and popular here in US.

@Batman8127 No,Sentai is mostly aimed at children. Japan just has different broadcasting standards so fights get more brutal. Remember the Tengas vs the Cogs got quite brutal.
A lot of Power Rangers series have been darker than the Sentai version too. It's just that most people have probably only seen Mighty Morphin.

funny thing is, this was someone what (if you dont count the whole red rangers fighting on the moon thing) the last time we actually saw zeos in action-ish. tho i do wish they had zeo in fight in this movie, and make more of a reason to make the turbo power (like, show that zeo wasnt going to be strong enough)

yeh wen i 1st saw this bit i was like yay we mite c sum zeo, then we just saw this, but this is 1 of the reasons y i like the film, a ranger (kat) morphs becoz she was in danger, and it was great 2 c her morph whilst shes fallin next 2 waterfalls!

She morphed as she was falling into the water because by doing so, it protects her from the impact. So it wont hurt as much.

I dunno. It's weird how morph scenes work in power rangers. Remember in the MMPR Season 3 where the teens are at the lake or something like that. They are in the middle of the lake in a boat and the tengas appear on shore and they dive in the water and when all the people vanish, they pop out of the water in their ninja ranger suits? Weird but cool!

What I don't understand is, why would Kat morph when she was falling? How could that possibly save her in any way, shape, or form? I really like this, only because at least they mentioned the Zeo powers in the movie, and the shot is awesome, but it just never made sense to me. I didn't see Tommy morphing when he jumped in after her.

well, keep in mind that when they morph, they have more protection....she probably thought she would get hurt during the fall....which she apparently did. i have no clue as to why tommy jumped in like that.

I was thinking the exact same thing when I first saw this movie. Unfortunately, the focus of the movie was getting new powers and battling Divatox and her fiancee, so the Zeo powers were abandoned, almost as if they never had them at all. I know it sucked that Zeo powers didn't get a better sendoff, but what can you do? :(

At a convention, Johnny Yong Bosch said that in an early draft of the script, the Zeo Powers were used. They were destroyed, however, in what sounded like a pretty epic scene, hence why they were given the Turbo powers.

Yeah, apparantly it was totally epic. There was a fight which ended up in the suits and helmets being torn from their bodies, leaving the suits severely damaged.
