i flew on virgin america 4 times, and each time i did so i had to deal with the most obnoxious people - the target audience for virgin flights seems to be hipsters, college kids, really gay men & self-absorbed people who think flying virgin is a fashion statement. i now always fly on united because its packed with business people who read and are quiet and respectful. also, i always watch movies on my ipod so i dont see why the tv screens are necessary- you have to pay for the good films anyways

Firstly, this lighting system is NOT the same as others like AC, VS etc. this one has a more wide spectrum of colors. Plus, this airline was the first to have these seats (coach at least-not sure about F). The R.E.D. interactive environment is unlike other IFTs in the sky, the world included. Yes, America does have quite crappy airlines, but the attitude and composure of this airline makes it better than any other airline in the sky

I've flown three round trips on Virgin America so far and the onboard services all had been better than average. When I checked in at San Diego, the extremely long AA check in line was barely moving while we were able to check in in less than FIVE minutes on Virgin America! Yeah, their leather seats are very comfy.

They misplaced my luggage on my second flight on Virgin America. They found my luggage and they delivered it from San Diego Airport to my hotel in Palm Springs! Then they upgraded me and my wife on our return flight from SD to SF for our trouble. Is this a great airline or what?

my dad is one of the people that help pull this company together and trust me they are trying to get more locations but they are a new company and what needs to be understood is that its a lot of work to get new locations. its not just a matter of saying that youll go somewhere but you have a lot of paperwork to go through. but its definatly comming soon!

while virgin america is new and doesnt have much routes yet, which is a plus for jetBlue im guessing so..uhh yea. they should really consider to add more cities and explore more. virgin america has many people that wanna fly them that are not on the fuckin east-west north-south routes they have right now -_- like me in miami! come the fuck down! we have a new terminal woolywoolywooly.

as for now, i still favor jetBlue :D

The only difference of the two airlines is if you want to pay hundreds more on a ticket if you fly virgin atlantic. Go with Jetblue low fares, many destinations, friendly, leather seats, great customer service, in flight entertainment. Seems like all positives to me for Jetblue, that is unless you have lots of money.

Virgin America is my favorite airline. For those of you who have experienced their one and only "dark" aircraft (the A319 with no in-flight entertainment system, no power ports in the seats, and none of the "gizmos" hooked up yet), they FINALLY pulled that aircraft from service! It has been sent back to Rome, NY for retrofitting. They will name that aircraft, "The Dark Horse" (appropriately so!). I love VA----awesome airline.
