  • Very nice. How come her hair isn't wet? :)

  • wow! very impressive!! Do you mind doing a tutorial on the water you did below the mermaid? Or even just showing the process would be amazing

  • Woow superknap:O

  • the water is made of what??

  • @pyrodex the water is made with resin

  • This is amazing, simply amazing. I love your artwork :)

  • Lovely!!! I would love to see a tutorial on how you did the base as well!

  • Gorgeous! Really amazing! If you just put some sort of resin on placed on the skin to make it look wet, it wold have given it a more realistic affect. Still fantastic though!

  • I have been working in polyclay and resin for thirty years now. Your advice about the resin was accurate, but you should have been wearing gloves from the beginning! Bad girl! Your work is very nice, by the way. What brand of liquid varnish do you use?

  • @runemal909 Yes, I should have worn protection from the word go and I didn't. The varnish on her tail is a spray varnish by Helmar.

  • Absolutely stunning work! I am highly impressed with the realism of the water. Did you create some kind of mold first to pour thin sheets of resin, or use wire mesh? You said it was clear resin, so did you add color to the resin?

Thanks so much for any advice and for sharing your work!! Love it!

  • Amazing! Thanks so much!

  • what did you use for making the bottom like a fish it look like real tail

    beautifull verry nice

  • @TheMaxjrc I used aves apoxie for sculpting. Detailing in the painting was done by airbrush and finished with high gloss varnish

  • fabulous! very nice work indeed!

i really liked the water splash..it looked real.

i think if her hair looked wet it would be even more realistic for me too.

    well done!

  • HOLY HANNAH ! BEAUTIFUL ! ! !

  • amazing

  • Beautiful! ^_^

  • Incredible...how long did it take to complete?

  • It's beautiful. But I think it would have been better if the hair was sculpted too to make it look like it was blowing in the wind. Also, it would have been nice if it was a video instead of slide show

  • It's really awsome, gorgeous! What kind of paint did you use?

    beautiful!

  • Absolutely Brilliant!! I could watch her for ages!

  • what clay did you use? on the whole figure? is it a polymer clay? what brand?

  • THe whole figure is made from polymer clay, living doll

  • yes what did you use for the water?

    btw this is absolutely gorgeous!

  • The water is made from resin. Crystal clear resin. Gorgeous stuff ! very dangerous though !! it gives you a very severe rash, so beware if you want to give this a go. This was a once in a lifetime for me, never again !!!!!!!

  • @claudineroelens lol....but why??? It's so beautiful!!!!

  • So is the water made from glue, like hot glue or ??

  • @AmberVirgo
