How to open an Opinel

Is this you own idea of how to open a knife? I mean it seems to work okay when you do it but personally I'd be concerned about bruising the lovely wooden handle. Maybe not a bad idea for a person with one hand missing though.

You have both carbon steel and stainless steel blades.

Both are amazing cutters, and you can touch up the edge of the carbon steel on a stone.

All that for less than £10.00, or US$ 16.00, and it's not even made in China.

@DaBossk ya they are really sharp especially the steel blades, i find that stainless steel doesn't keep as a sharp edge than steel blades but saying that both are really easy to keep an edge on
