Dinan is up there almost with Alpina.

An American aftermarket company doesn't have the same constraints as an OE. BMW still has to price the M in the appropriate market range and still make $ in mass production. Dinan is lower volume and is less affected by the economies of scale. $1 x 100 = $100 and $1 x 1,000,000 = $1,000,000

The e46 m3 motor is overstressed?? Then what the hell is HPF doing taking it to 600rwhp on stock motor? idk, but I think I'd side with Dinan over HPF.
