i would go with a faster drive... maybe an ssd because im guessing ur 500 gb drive is 7200 rpm which can be pushed to 10000 with a velociraptor drive or and ssd with crazy read/write speeds

this monitor will get u to 1080p with the hdmi or without it, there someother ways to get 1080p from a monitor without hdmi, just search it in the youtube, how to conect ps3/xbox 360 to a monitor

Its called an hdmi to dvi converter its a small piece, so if XBOX 360 and PS3 have HDMI out then just use the hdmi cable and et an DVI to hdmi adapter should be about 30 dollars US at Best Buy or check out online stores like tigerdirect or newegg

I just got this & it's very nice but the only annoying thing is the touch sensitive buttons because when your in the dark you can't see a dam thing.

You do get use to it after a while because you can use the blue led as a guide to know what buttons are where.

Still a good monitor & I recommend it.

yea i dont have it yet so i cant tell u how it turned out , but i heard it has input lag so ima test it right after i picked it up , and if thats the case then i think ima return it and go for the acer g24 (although the panel it uses is very very cheap,so thats the reason why it s so cheap for a monitor that has 50.000 to 1 ratio and 2 ms response time(24 inch also).
