I read a book years ago, called "Sugar Blues" by William Dufty. An absolute read. He states that during the Bubonic Plague, the rich who could afford sugars, were dropping like flies, the poor country folk who could not, faired well.

My sister was just diagnosed and I am having all the same sypmtoms! How can I find a doctor who treats this and will diagnose me properly?? My sis found a great doc in MD but i live in Nevada now where lyme is almost unheard of. I'm afraid that if I go to a doc here, they will just blow me off. How can i find a good one? Please, I feel worse and sicker every day. I really need to get on top of this. Help!

I was bit in 1992, then twice in 1996, and now get to stay home 24-7, becouse I cant do anything without collasping. I have had Lyme Disease for 26 years and went to every doctor under the sun. I was missdiagnosed and blown off. I was finaly diagnosed two years ago with Chronic Late Stage Lyme Disease. After 7 months of IV antibiotics, my doctor told me that I was finaly over the immediate threat of dying from Lyme. After two years of IV antibiotics, I am doing so much better. I lost everything in my life to Lyme, but I won't let it have my life. I am SO happy to see that this woman has improved so much!

I caught it early (still had the rash) and took doxy 5 weeks, but scrip ended last week and all my symptoms are coming back, even though I did almost twice the recommended treatment. I am taking ammoxicillin I had around and ordering doxy from Canada, since the doctor won't give me any more.

This is the tragidy of Lyme Disease. You shouldn't have to get Doxy from Canada! But I'm grateful that you caught it eary. But don't give up. Azorka82 has given you sound advice. Don't let the doctors make you feel like you are paranoid or crazy. You have to be your #1 advocate. Believe what your body tells you.

igspal, if you see my personal profile here (click my name Azorka and it will show on left across from my favorite videos), you'll see I was diagnosed immediately (10 days after tick bite had produced large red rash) and prescribed doxy immediately. Even a few months later tried Dr. Burrascano guidelines suggestion of Cefuroxime 30 days 2X standard dose. Increasingly debilitated 6 years later.

Lyme CAN & USUALLY DOES affect ANY &/or ALL bodily systems! Lyme patients aren't getting PROPERLY diagnosed ON TIME (if AT ALL), & THAT'S WHEN LYME BECOMES CHRONIC! The CHRONICALLY ILL make drug co.'s, hospitals, etc. VERY RICH (they're in cohoots w/the CDC, IDSA, etc...these gov't agencies print BOGUS diagnosing & treatment guidelines regarding Lyme, allowing patients to become CHRONIC, then they DENY CHRONIC Lyme EXISTS)!!!

Surprised this video has only 37 views. What's up with that? Anyhow, if not chronic (tertiary) bacterial spirochette, then wondering if the "Post-Lyme disease auto-immune syndrome" is actually antibiotic (doxycycline) induced lupus. Feedback? Thanks...

doxy induced lupus? I think ppl don't get any doxy in the first place or else they wouldn't be sick? If I would have gotten Doxy in '98, instead of ringworm cream, then I'd prolly be well. And this vid has more than 250 views, but that's to be expected, 1) its recent 2) most ppl come on youtube to be entertained, not hear about "OTHER" ppl's illnesses. - There are a lot of folks who do NOT know about Lyme.

The common information (propaganda?) given the general public is that lyme is easily cured when caught early. Mine wasn't. Or is it now doxy lupus?
